They could be lying, or mistaken. Do they have character witnessess that can vouch for them? Any physical evidence they can provide? Corroborating witnesses?

i havent read all the posts but here is my reply:

evolution is a natural process. its exists as a way for organisms to adapt and survive. who are you to say that it doesnt? did God come down and give some personal revelation? have you ever even taken a genetics class? from what youve said ide venture to say you havent. i have taken a genetics class and a molecular biology class. and i can tell you that the cellular machinery for evolution to happen does exist. it is there. we can see it and test it.

evolution happens purely by accident. there is no overriding force driving it to happen. it all random mutation. if it is a beneficial mutation then the organism can survive better and will pass on its traits more readily to future generations. it is purely survival of the fittest. the strong live to pass on their traits and the weak die and are culled from the gene pool.

even humans have evolved over the milennia. we have gotten taller. look back as recently as the civil war and look at the uniforms. they were typically shorter ppl than we are now. and goliaths having 6 fingers and toes wasnt some sign that made him a monster. its a genetic trait called polydactyly. its a dominant trait that runs in families. if one parent had it you will too. it still exists today. look it up. its also doubtful he was 9 feet tall. search for ppl who are nine feet tall today and then ask your self could they have ever been warriors? doubtful because they have horrible health issues. goliath was probably in the 7- 8 foot range. the ppl were smaller then so he would have looked a giant. today we would just be like "wow youre tall. do you play basketball?"

evolution is not a bad thing it is not evil. dont start raging against something you obviously do not understand just because you are a christian and youre supposed to hate evolution. i am a christian as well as a 4th year biochemistry student. and i can tell you without a doubt that evolution exists. did we come from monkeys? i dont know i wasnt there. God could have done that if he wanted. hes God. who are we to say what he did or did not do. none of us were there. it is doubtful that are inferior minds could even comprehend what took place at creation. so that is probably why God explained it to moses in a such simple manner in genesis. so moses would be able to understand an relate to it.

but this is just my opinion. i wasnt there so i dont really know. all i truly know is what ive learned from my studies.

The offspring of a species, if I have it right it where the changes take place in this present world. It is also where science assumes that the changes happened for evolution at all times. (no?)

In the bible, we see John the Baptist gave his first prophesy while in the womb. He started kicking and going nuts soon as the Messiah, also in the womb got near! We also see Jacob and Esau fighting constantly in the womb, and this again was a prophesy of the Arab and Jewish fighting that would go on from the two nations that would come from the offspring.

Often, the Almighty through an angel or prophet spoke of offspring not yet born as well. This means that evolution could not possibly have been responsible for the changes, since God was so involved. This means selection comes from God, not nature.

I am not aware of any science that evidences any natural selection in the deep past, when most things that changed evolved and adapted did so..! Therefore, all that is left is looking at the present world and how it now works (that they can perceive) and projecting that onto the far past, to explain different lifeforms.

Prove your god exists first. Then you can try to prove what things it can actually do.

No... it's a story that has no provenance behind it. You either believe it or you don't. Prophesy is easy to fulfill when the answer is written at the same time as the question.

So when it comes to shaddows and type there are many many prophecys in the Old Testement that have been fulfilled and are still going to be fulfilled in the future. They don't find all the pages and entries destroyed for political reasons, nor can they find all the little additions and tweaks that scribes put in over the years.

Your book is mostly duct tape now, almost all of the original is lost because even if the Word of God is inerrant HUMANS are nothing of the sort. Even Christian humans.
