CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like to keep these short but here's a big one from Romans 9 which I'm working on
Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises…. the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ who is God overall…………It is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise………..in order that God’s purpose in election might stand: not by works but by him who calls……….I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth………… I will call her my loved one who is not my loved one…………Isaiah cries out........."Only the remnant will be saved".............They pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.

While daily trusting Jesus, none of the translations (known of at this time) contradict His Plan, Purpose and Will.
Compare as many as you like, God Willing , as God Himself Reveals His Understanding (not man's understanding), and all in perfect harmony and truth.
