Hello all! This is my first post on this site. Ive read a few things that have helped me out a lot!
So anyways. Im looking to get a ring for my girlfriend. We have been dating for 3 years and I am a very dedicated christian. She has had some hard times in her life and the effects of those are still present. She acknowledge god but does not really totally accept him. She doesnt want to accept an all loving god after what he has put her through. so ya, thats some background. now on to the question.
I want to get my girlfriend a ring. I want it to be special, and i want it to have a good inspiring bible verse in it. I would love to do 1 corinthians 13:4-8, love is patient love is kind etc. i love that verse and that has been the basis of our relationship for me. but its really long. I found this ring that i think is really cool and unique "Satin Shine Solar Eclipse Secret Message Band" on evesaddiction.com (cant post links yet sorry)
I have a couple options but i want to be open to some ideas. one is
Outerband outside: I will be with you always
Outerband inside: love prospers when fault
innerband outside: I love you
Innerband inside: is forgotten proverbs17:9
or
Outerband outside: I will be with you always
Outerband inside: Hatred stirs up strife
innerband outside: Proverbs 10:12
Innerband inside: Love covers all wrongs
I dont want it to be like a you better be a christian type of thing, i want it to be subtle kinda... i want it to be a daily reminder that I, and god are with her allways. and that she is loved, because she often needs that reminder.
