2 Kings 5

Verse 14: So he [Naaman] went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the word of the man of God [the prophet Elisha], and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

lean? I suppose you mean learn. ;)

Well, I guess you can say so.
Although if you read through 1 Kings 10:1-13, I would rather say she was there to confince herself that King Solomon is really that wise as she heard of him to be. And she also came here to bring him gifts (as it was the custom between kings at that time.).

Your turn! :)

Seven days x seven times = 49 times. ;)

Joshua 6:4-5
Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.” (NIV)

E Nomine - Die Posaunen von Jericho (in English: The trumpets of Jericho.)

How much did Judas get of the Pharisees for betraying Jesus?

Nothing he gave back the thirty pieces of silver which was the price of a slave .

Question : where in the old testament does it give the exact name of the coming Messiah ?

you really want me to type them all? :D :o

No, I'll copy them. ;)

Number six of your ten commandments is wrong , it should read thou shall not murder , as in pre meditated murder . We are allowed to kill someone if the circumstances justify it , for example a rapist can be killed by the husband or father of the victim . Murders can be avenged .

Question :

where in the old testament does it give the exact name of the coming Messiah?

Answer:

Isaiah 7
13 And he[ meaning Isaiah] said, “Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. [=God with us] 15 He shall eat curds and honey when he knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good. 16 For before the boy knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land whose two kings you dread will be deserted. 17 The Lord will bring upon you and upon your people and upon your father's house such days as have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah—the king of Assyria.”

I think this is what you mean.

Are you sure? I've heard that for the first time.
We are no Muslims where honour killings are allowed?
God himselfs says, in Deuteronomy 32:35-36 '“Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” and “The Lord will judge his people.”'

My native-language isn't English, but I know that it says in all my German bibles "kill" (=töten) and not "murder" (=morden) in Exodus 20:13.

Jesus did not come to change the law but to fulfill it , Paul tells us that we are to forgive all sins unless it is a sin unto death which rape and murder are . I am not speaking of the Muslims Koran which is not of God .

Yes that is one of his names but the bible actually tells us his Hebrew name , I should have been more clear when asking the question .

Oh I see, well there is more than one answer possible I guess:

i.e.: In Psalms 9:14, David bursts forth, I will rejoice in thy salvation.
What he actually did say and mean was, "I will rejoice in (with) thy YESHUA (Jesus)."

No the verse I am thinking of actually tells us what the messiahs Hebrew name is in a KJV bible , although the Hebrew spelling is Yashua that is not how they spell it in the KJV , that is a good hint and should get you to the verse I speak of . Peace and happy hunting
