Brinny,
Thank you for your answers to 125 and 126. Both were very good answers.

he had an illness and he died from it...
was reading Hebrews and this verse sorta' caught my attention:
"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God." ~Hebrews 11:5
This reminds me of what happened to Elijah. God took/translated Enoch because he pleased God, and that is why God took him. It appears that it would also apply to Elijah. Enoch didn't die. Neither did Elijah.
Thank you....love this thread...thank you for starting it....
127/ What did King Ahaz of Judah do when he was attacked by both the King of Israel and the King of Syria.
7 So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me.
8 And Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the Lord, and in the treasures of the king's house, and sent it for a present to the king of Assyria.
