So give an example of a "kind".

or... a man taking 5 buns and two fish... and feeding more than 5000 people with 12 baskets of left overs?

Would any of these miracles left evidence behind?

You identify as a Christian. Does history show any evidence for a man dying, being buried for three days, coming back to life, preaching sermons, eating, walking through walls... floating up into the sky?

You better believe more on what God can do and say's that He did.. than what humans have told you to be historic.

If... if your going to proclaim to be a Christian... that is.

Believing God can do what He said He did and man interpreting God's Word correctly are two wildly different things.

I find it funny that we can, as the work of art, hold an arrogant attitude as to what the artist did.

Can you imagine all the static and two dimensional images in the painting of the last supper, while being nothing more than media which reflects different colors.. stuck on a canvas and unchanging for centuries..... all this multi colored media arguing among its created self as to what brush the artist used, where he purchased his canvas and how long it took him to create them?

Of course it's absurd. Michelangelo didn't give paint self-awareness and intelligence as God did to us.

Yet, that's what we do. We claim, as the creation, to know more than the creator, who has told us exactly what He did.

When you try to apply science to biblical stories there are a lot of fallacies and they are hard to avoid. The first is the assumption that you actually know enough to analyze a story.

The first thing you run into in the flood story is that there is no physical evidence, but tribes all around the world recorded a flood and they all agreed on all the details. Science or no science, they all saw something, and they all saw the same thing.

Worldwide flood stories differ significantly from each other. If Noah and the other seven people on the Ark are all the survived, how do we have flood accounts written by other tribes?

Then you learn about China. The name means "middle kingdom". Middle of what? The Chinese saw the tree of life in the north sky and the sea of confusion in the south sky. The Earth had equatorial rings in those days, and spokes in the rings made it look like a muddy sea. It was observed and recorded by other civilizations too

If the Flood covered the entire earth, then there should be no other flood stories from other cultures as no other cultures would have survived to write down the stories.

Again, that's faith, not historical proof of anything.

Maybe we have two different understandings of what "historical proof" means. To me finding the Temple of Solomon is historical proof that the Solomon's Temple described in the Bible existed. It is not historical proof that Solomon once advised two women to settle their dispute of motherhood of a child by cutting the child in half.

Early Christian Writings: New Testament, Apocrypha, Gnostics, Church Fathers

But it would be difficult and time consuming to collect just places about his resurrection.

I would say its an evidence. Not a proof, not just a faith in something invented. Could Church exist without the resurrection in the beginning?
