  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Speaking of Bebop and Trigun, they are in the works of continueing the series. I can't wait for them too and when they do i will have to change my answers to those two.
You're talking about Trigun and not Cowboy Bebop, right? I could see a continuation of Trigun, but Bebop is a closed story as far as I'm concerned.

Please! No sequels >.<

I thought both series left you just where they should've. Wanting more. They were perfect endings.

Agreed, although the Trigun ending was a bit open IMHO, the Bebop ending was *the end,* and I don't see the point in an official continuation for either series.

As a fanfiction writer, I'm especially against a continuation for Trigun: the open ending was ideal for fanworks, and an official sequel that totally explains everything and wraps everything up (as I heard the manga may have eventually) would be nowhere near as interesting as all the speculations and theories. :)

Rah Xephon and Lain. I probably win the most obscure choices here award. Rah Xephon is what Eva should have been if it wasn't slapped together, and Lain is just... Lain. Indescribable. Brilliant.

Cowboy Bebop and Trigun were great, but not as good as those two. I personally would like a Trigun movie, that would be nice (see the characters again) without tying too much up. The cowboy bebop movie worked perfectly with the show, and something like that with trigun would be good.

oh, a Trigun movie would be fairly interesting. Imagine all the funny moves Vash would make... :D

:D LOL. . .if it was set in-series or even post-series and if it were NOT live-action like the upcoming Eva movie *shudders*, it could be good if it were done well. My main problems with a continuation, movie or series, would be if it was made as a simple attempt to milk the franchise complete with rewrites and changes to make it "more American" (coughcoughBig O Season 2coughcough), or if it's like the manga ending appears to be ever so slowly inching toward from those in the know that I know (highlight for rumor I heard)

Spoiler:The manga is rumored to eventually end in any of the following: a mutual death of Vash and Knives, the series becoming some kind of *intentional* sloppy religious allegory like Eva, or Vash dying at the hands of Knives.

An ending like these would, IMHO, indeed wrap everything up-but it would be *too* wrapped up, too closed to speculation and debate, except by grumpy fans who didn't want to see it go that way. As it is, weak ending or no, it's open and one can draw their own conclusions. :)

Considering that Cartoon Network was one of the producers of the show for the second season it isn't that surprising that they tried to make it have more of an appeal for an American audience, but it is a little sad.

Bebop did not end. They are in the works of continuing it. A few of my friends that are way more into anime then i am found some anime site that was talking about it. They said that they are thinking about it. It may happen and it may not happen. They said as long as Spike is alive they will try to continue it.

Am I the only Robotech fanboy here? I feel lonely.
Nope. I've seen most of the series, read all of the novels, own quite a few of the role playing books and built several models... I love Robotech. I like Macross better, though. And Rah Xephon. Episode 19 of Rah Xephon is by far the best half hour of animation I've ever seen.

Naruto's my current addiction, though. Yay, Naruto!

My favorite anime is Rurouni Kenshin, that it is. :)

Have you seen the whole thing? It's really good until ep 65 or something and then the storyline of the anime departs from the manga, that it does :D.

Rurouni Kenshin would have been my favourite anime if they stopped making it when they caught up with the manga.
