I wanted to get some opinions about feelings about him as a person abd his ministry. I have my own that I will share when the time is right, but I want to make sure that nobody cuts him to the bone. So let me hear it.

I'm sure this has been brought up many times before, but......

Thats intresting that you ask about him, becuase for a couple of weeks now ive been doing a bit of research on him.Well first off i do bealive God can heal anyone and anywhere and at any time. That for sure is true. And i do bealive God can use a person as a tool to do this..BUT...theres always a BUT...the stuff that i seen him do is kinda out there.Waving his coat around for example..come on now,is that how healing is done these days, what is that?So i mean theres alot of info out on the web about him,and i know everyone will have a diffrent opinion about this,,but i do bealive God can heal people no matter what,so i guess its up to you if you bealive it or not..im not saying hes a fake..but some of the stuff is out there.

Have a blessed day:)

I dearly love Brother Benny and I support his ministry, financially and prayerfully.

I believe he is an anointed man of God whom God is using during these end times to save, heal and deliver His people for the final glorious, united Church!

Halleleuia!

Yes so do I...

When I first started watching him.. my husband was very anti Benny Hinn... he printed off pages and pages of stuff from off the internet.. I decided not to go on some of what I read.. I just decided to watch and make my own judgements..

But I have faithfully watched his programs for probably a year now.. we get them very early in the morning here in Australia and my husband tapes them for me!!! .. and have seen nothing wrong yet!! In fact I get more excited and uplifted in my faith to watch him... more bold.. more in love with Jesus!!

He has a love for seeing souls come to Jesus!!
He loves the Holy land!!!
He preaches messages that touch you and teach you more about God and his word..
God is healing people through his ministry and bringing many to salvation!!
He is going throughout the world preaching the gospel..
His programs uplift and are encouraging..
He is a humble man.. and always give God the glory!!

Praise God for Benny Hinn!!!!

Ok so..... I am not saying he is not annointed, but I believe he preys on weak minded christians. What I mean by that is "Christians" who think that they have to see this man to be healed or who think God can only heal them through him. I feel his ministry leaves way to OVER zealousness. What happened to faith in God? I believe that God can heal me sitting right here at my computer. Before you go nuts I am not saying he is fake or the people getting healed is fake, BUT...... There is that word again.
On a whole do healing ministries feel that they are under more scrutiny than any other form of ministry? There have been so many that faked it on TV, its just hard for some people to grab.

Well not sure about all that.. I have learnt that we must come to God as a child comes.. for we cannot enter the kingdom of God unless we are a like a child..

Faith is for the simple... And with faith nothing is impossible for they who come to God must believe that He is.. and God rewards those who seek Him!!

As you say... you believe God can heal you in your chair right now!! Then that is great... some people do not have the faith to do that.. But their faith is lifted when they meet with others as themselves.. and it is obvious that Gods presence is in places where Benny Hinn preaches.. Many are very overcome with grief and emotion.. and I am sure that many are able to praise God in places like that easier..
Sometimes but not always even in my house.. I get stirred up to praise God just watching his programs.. and I am not an overly emotional person at all..

I don't know if prey is the word I would use.. but as He believes in God.. and has a great faith.. people flock to that.. to learn... to be healed.. to know what He has got that they need... Some come out of curiosity I suppose..
Jesus said that all who ask shall recieve.. But yet there was a man in the bible who was sick 38 years.. and Jesus said to that man.. Do you want to be well?

Some don't want to be well and for some reason their healing does not come.. but Jesus can heal them.. and their are places God allows His Spirit to be poured out where it touches people and they get saved and healed..I think it all has to do with the heart attitude.. we know Benny Hinn does not have any great power... It is God through him.. but so many live lives where they do not see Gods power at work.. they need to see miracles.. it was the same in Jesus day too.. and although there were many who did not believe even the Son of God when He healed people.. many did believe!!!!

I had the opportunity to go to one of his meetings. My friend took me because she knew of my illness and she also has some of her own. So we went to one they had in Florida.

I remember waiting in a really long line outside to get inside to the event. They had a tent outside too, with a television in it and chairs.

We got to go inside because we had tickets in advance. Once inside you couldnt take in food or drinks, which didnt so much bother me at first until I saw the concession stands. Which while I was outside, you knew there were a lot of poor people, and these stands were very expensive.

Also inside they were selling all manor of things. This also bothered me.

Then we had set down at last to our seats. You know it was weird, he spoke about what God was going to do. Also he yelled at this one lady during the service for speaking in tongues (I personally dont have a problem with that, but I am sure it didnt make her feel too good...perhaps he knew there wasnt an interpreter, or maybe he just doesnt believe in tongues, who knows).

Now see when I went to this service I really wanted my healing. I mean that is why I came to that meeting. But he did it weird. He doesnt do the laying on of hands. He expects you to believe in a healing for yourself, and that God will move through the audience and heal you. Then you must go up front and announce it to everyone, and he checks it out to see if it is true. If the person can really hear, or see, or walk...

Then part way through the service he gets himself all filled up with the spirit, and begins to prophecy on his own behalf to everyone about what God is going to do through him. Something about making amputated legs grow back and stuff like that. (Now I am sure you have seen this because he was proud of this service and had it played on television, I saw it later).

But he was like on the ground, holy roller style, saying he felt the annointing.

Now see I cant say any of this is true or not. It beats me, but I didnt like it.

Now ask me why...

Because I didnt recieve a healing. And so many came for a healing, it was unbelievable, and people were left out in the tent to view. He didnt even do like Jesus or the disciples and apostles, like laying on of the hands, or speaking a healing to pass on those who believe- so it would be the two agreeing. So I left disappointed and hurt that God was suppose to move around that room, and he didnt love me enough to heal me. Yet he did for the people in the front row.

Also I didnt like the buying and selling. This was not a time for that. It wasnt like this man was having a concert. And he can sell his books in book stores like everyone else. Why do it at a church gathering. It is suppose to be about God.

(Dont get me wrong, I do understand that they need to pay for the colosium they were in. But you know what, at church is not the time for it. It made it come across as- this house shall be a house of prayer and you have made it a den of thieves, type thing).

After that, I refused to watch Benny again, and that was the very first time I had ever heard of him. Now I watch TBN and know who he is.

Let me ask you this, why do you need Benny Henn for a healing, if all he does is let God do it alone anyways. He lets you have the faith, and God.

It was after this I realized who I really needed to go to for my healing. Stop putting your trust in mere humans (Jeremiah 17:5 This is what the Lord says: Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans and turn their hearts away from the Lord). I needed to go the God myself, in him alone would I find a true healing.

So I really cant lay it all on Benny Henn, now can I? Because my faith was wrong. I went expecting to be healed, but not by God, by Benny Henn. So I did just what the Lord tells us not to do, put our trust in man. (But see we as believers do it in an odd way. We want to believe for a healing, but for some reason we think someone else's faith will be stronger than our own. So surely we will be healed through this person...sadly that apparently isnt how it works).

Now here is what I believe, when healings happen, it will be like unto Jesus and his Apostles, or even healings from the Old Testiment, it will be immediate, and no doubt from God. We can read in the gospels how Jesus did it, or we can even see in Acts some amazing ways the Lord worked through his followers.

For me, I think someone who really loves you will place their hands on you, like they care, with compassion. Something doctors (even) have forgotten was their practice. It shows that you care.

Or like Jesus, speak it forth.

Or even in amazing ways such as Peter whose very shadow healed.

And if we need old testiment references, we have Elisha references, who raised a boy from the dead. And also professed a true God in Israel, and caused a man with leperosy to be healed in the name of God in the Jordan River.

see now for me, I must look to the truth, and study it from scriptures. see this true faith for myself, and how it is revealed in each person who believes.

The only way to know a believer is by his fruit.

God Bless

I am sorry Treasurer that you had a bad experience... it would have been dissapointing not to be healed.. Did you see any healings while you were there?? Some healings seem to be immediate.. others take time..

Thank you for sharing though... what one sees on television is only part of what happens of course...

I went to see him last year in New Jersey and I went away with a lot of red flags in my spirit. The worship was fine, and his message was pretty much on target. It is when he began the healing portion of the service that I started getting a sense something wasn't right.

He began walking by people who were sitting near the stage and then breathing on them and just flailing his arms around while people began falling over. He was even making motions like a person bowling and knocking people over like they were pins. I couldn't take it any longer and while waiting just outside the doors, I heard him begin to growl deeply and coarsely and make noises that were not what I would expect to hear from a supposedly anointed healer/preacher.....it sent chills up my spine and not good ones either. Dare I say they almost sounded demonic. It disturbed my wife also, who was with me. It is not the experience I had been told to expect.

Does healing occur? Yes, I had a healing of my hearing loss yesterday!!! Praise God!!!! However, after coming out of the building after Hinn's service, I felt it was more like a big-top circus show and I will never go to one of his services again. I can still hear that growling in my mind and it gives me the creeps even now.

the only thing i feel about it is .. be careful when you are drawing attention to yourself as the healer rather than having it all point towards the real Healer. Pridefulness and selfseeking are always close at hand.

i have watched him and his show. That is really only thing i am kinda iffy about. Does his showiness only glorify the Healer or the man?

It depends on your attitude when you tune in. If you are suspicious and cautious, then you are going to see everything from that perspective and much of it will seem to match your perspective. I watch the program, not to see Benny, but to see God at work, people being saved and healed, and I have never seen or heard anything except Jesus glorified.

And S. Walch, Be very, very careful about making casual, and possibly false, accusations toward anyone without any solid proof.

:prayer: May God bless brother Benny and continue to use him mightily to lead millions more to the Lord for salvation and healing, in Jesus' Name, Amen! :prayer:

Seeing as though every prophecy that Benny Hinn has made with a date hasn't come true, I class him as a false prophet.

Same with Nichodemus - every prophecy he's made with a date hasn't come true, so he's not a prophet, just like Benny Hinn.

Some false prophecies from Benny Hinn:

In 94-95, all homosexuals in America will be destroyed by fire - has it come true? Oh no it hasn't.

Fidel Castro will die in the 90's - Seeing as though he didn't, that makes this a false prophecy.

Even if he had made just one false prophecy, Yahuweh tells us that this prophet is not from him.

I believe Yahuweh, and the testimony of those that heard Benny Hinns prophecies and saw them unfulfilled.

Benny Hinn is a false Prophet and there's absolutely no evidence to the opposite.

Your word, is not nearly enough to change what I know to be true. Prophets can be wrong without being false. They are human and sometimes they make mistakes, especially when it comes to precise dates.

Also, many prophecies must be prayed into fulfillment by the church. If the church doesn't care enough to pray or thinks things will come to pass by being dropped on them from heaven, they are sadly mistaken.

You say "EVERY" prophecy by Benny with a date has not come to pass. That's a brazen statement and must be backed by proof, and I don't just mean those people whom you respect. I have just as many, if not more, people whom I respect, but I don't expect others to accept that as proof.

I continue to stand by Benny and everything I’ve said about him. God bless and multiply him greatly.

I will say no more on this thread. Peace, young brother. :)

Actually, yes, they do,

Read Yahuweh's word if you don't believe me, Matthew 24 and Jeremiah 23 is a start.

And yes, every prophecy Benny Hinn has made with a date has been wrong.

And, are you telling me that Yahuweh's Spirit can be wrong as well?

His actual words when talking about Fidel Castro's "death.."

"The Spirit tells me - Fidel Castro will die - in the 90's. Oooh my! Some will try to kill him and they will not succeed. But there will come a change in his physical health, and he will not stay in power, and Cuba will be visited of God."

He specifically says that the "spirit" has told him that Fidel Castro will die in the 90's. You can actually listen to him saying it - That's definantly Benny Hinn talking, not anyone else!

Either the spirit is wrong, or Benny Hinn is a false prophet.

Fine, still want to stay in your delusion about Benny Hinn?

I'll stick with Yahuweh thanks, and His Word.

Edit: and no, prophets prophecies that they say Yahuweh has told them cannot be "wrong" at all - they're either true or false.

Benny Hinn is a fasle prophet, the minute we found out that one of his prophecies wasn't true.
