Yeah, that was the first thing that I noticed. I had trouble taking him seriously when he first said "I am Batman" in that ridiculous voice. It's like he puts on the suit and immediately starts talking like Barry White.I thought Batman's voice was over done a bit... a little to much on the 'hoarse' side. My throat was hurting just listening to it.
The fact that Batman has to have a different voice than Bruce Wayne is a given...tqpix said:I thought it was great that he makes his voice husky when he becomes Batman. He has to do that, or else people will immediately recognize that Batman's voice is very similar to Bruce Wayne's.
birdfriend said:What do you think? Should I take my 7 and 9 year old grand kids to this movie? They are coming to visit us this weekend and it is on at the local theatre. Would it be too mature or dark for them to grasp or would they like it? They are both pretty smart kids and not easily scared. I would like to take them, but not sure if I should. I will also clear it with their parents.![]()
As for me I like what I am reading here. I remember being a big batman comic book fan when I was a kid and the comic book batman was originally a sort of "dark" caped crusader too.I plan to go even if without the grand kids.
Seems to me Christian Bale would be good since he does 'weird' so well. He was even a very unusual Laurie in Little Women.![]()
