Mr. Obama is a first term Senator from Illinois. He's very popular even up here in Wisconsin where he seems to have a following.

He has an avid following mainly because they believe he'll some day become the first African American President. I'm not sure what his age is but he seems too young to me, like my age. He is a very charismatic speaker and I'm sure a wonderful person.

He has said he has no intention of running in the upcoming election. I think he's way too young. He barely has experience where he is at. He may be charismatic, but I think he needs more experience under his belt to be able to have any real chance.

I agree but I'm just alittle curious, what kind of experience are you looking for that he doesn't have? Washington D.C. experience? I hope not!

Let me stress, I am not Democrate or Republican. I think for the most part that both those two parties are draging this country down to complete and utter failure. It's just a slow death...

So what is your purpose and or motivation for creating this thread? Is there some reason why you think we should all know this about Mr. Obama?

Pretty scary isn't it. I know the Bible says there is not a King (leader) in power that He did not place there. - but this is really scary - as bad as I think HIllary would be - I believe she would be better than this guy -

Probably all this would have come out if and when he gets closer to being a presidential candidate, but until I read this today, I had no idea that he was so steeped in Islam.

I kinda thought that is where you were heading on this. So this thread is sort of a heads up? I can understand that but please remember, Mr. Obama is a person and I don't think it's all that appropreiate to be judging him because some internet websites reports on him. Someone mentioned earlier that they heard he was a Christian, I would like a follow up on that.

The website stated that he is united Church of Christ, but I would definitely look into his education in Islam if he wanted to be my president. Also he is not against partial birth abortion, that's enough to rip it for me.

The media already has him named... he hasn't said a firm yes.

I've heard that people love him across the country, but also heard someone ask when he will start to get specific about his position on issues. If that's the case, that's as scary as people voting for a movie star just because they like them.

He just announced a few minutes ago that he was running. You can't believe politicians.
