Baptism doesn't alway's mean by water

A few types of baptism

1) New Testament Baptism in water:
Water baptism is an emblem of the true spiritual baptism/circumcision. Water baptism is an outwardly public profession of dying to sin, being buried (when we go under) and of being raised together with Christ in new spiritual resurrection life.

2) Baptism of repentance - for Nation of Israel only:
Baptism of repentance was John the Baptist ministry for the Nation of Israel only. A call of Repentance from breaking their 1st covenant with the LORD Jeremiah 31:32. Jewish purification doctrine preparing themselves for the soon coming prophesied & promised Messiah.

John the Baptist proclaimed:
Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptise you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptise you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
(THE COMING MESSIAH WILL BAPTISE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT & WITH FIRE)

3) Baptism into the body of Christ done via the Holy Spirit
Only Christ Himself can Baptize with the Holy Spirit. Its done at the moment of salvation without water & without hands. Its this spiritual baptism that seals the believers eternal salvation.

The baptism into Christ's body via the Holy Spirit. Matt 3:11 & Luke 3:16. Is a covenant of spiritual circumcision, done without hands and without water.

Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision """made without hands""", in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Deut 30:6 (A) And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart

Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism

Ephesians 4:30 Grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

1 Cor 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
(BY THE """HOLY SPIRIT""" WE ARE BAPTIZED BY CHRIST, INTO THE BODY OF CHRIST. NOBODY GETS WET)

4) The baptism of Fire:
John the Baptist spoke of this: Its for unbelievers at the final judgment. Like the Baptizm of the Holy Spirit, only Christ the final judge can can baptise with an everlasting judgment/fire.

NO WATER USED AT THESE BAPTISMS EITHER:
Mark 10:38 Jesus said can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
(Jesus is speaking of His baptism into death. NOBODY GOT WET!)

1 Peter 3:20 talks about the days of Noah and eight souls were saved by water. They were inside the Ark. NOBODY GOT WET!

1 Cor 2:10 when the Nation passes through the red sea and were baptised into Moses. They crossed on dry land. NOBODY GOT WET!

Acts 1:5 (Temple Mt/Pentecost) John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. NOBODY GOT WET!

1 Cor 12:13 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
BY THE """HOLY SPIRIT""" WE ARE BAPTIZED INTO CHRIST. NOBODY GETS WET! Maranatha

WE ARE BAPTIZED INTO CHRIST. NOBODY GETS WET!

While there are different forms of baptism, do you REALLY believe we aren't supposed to get wet? You are welcome to do as you feel convicted but to teach others that they don't need to get wet? I am thinking that the Eunuch that was baptized in Phillip's presence was not an Israelite and he understood the need to enter the water. I am sure I can find other examples.

In fact the first type posted sais this:
1) New Testament Baptism in water:

I quoted you... you ended your post with, "nobody gets wet."

I believe you are confusing water baptism. With the Baptism into the body of Christ done via the Holy Spirit.

As stated in the post. Only Christ can do this.

Note first in 1 Cor 12:13 Spirit is capitalised. Translators are telling us they are making a divine reference here to the word Spirit.

I stand by the above posted scripture.

The post also gave this scripture as a reference:

Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision """made without hands""", in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Note: Christ preforms this baptism via the Holy Spirit WITHOUT HANDS!

I stand behind these posted scriptures as well.

Finally the post gives these scripture references as well

Matt 3:11 & Luke 3:16. Again, wishing you a blessed day...
