Be blessed in all that you do, because Jesus Christ is living in, and moving you! My desire is not to point out that a friend is incorrect here, but rather to point out that words and teachings are incorrect. When this is understood sufficiently, hopefully then, none will think I am putting a person down, but rather, a teaching that is contrary to the Sacred Scriptures. These following words were noted in a post from one of the LDS's:
1/ Unless "agape" and not "caritas," is found in the life of the believer, s/he will lose their salvation, for all of God's children, walk "in Christ, in agape."
2/ Regardless the intent of an individual, if that one walks totally contrary to the Sacred Scriptures, s/he has not the Holy Spirit of Yahweh living within. The Spirit of truth, does not speak against His own truth, and it is seen most especially in the Epistle to the Hebrews, that the Aaronic priesthood has been taken away, and that the only One Who has the Melchisedec priesthood, is Christ Himself, Who presently ministers in the Heavenly Sanctuary. He and He alone, until the appearance of the 144 thousand, is a Priest after the order of Melchisedec, but He will share that priesthood, with the 144 thousand, when they appear.
Charity ["caritas" in the Greek language], is a synthesis of the two words "Eros" [love between man and wife] and "Agape" [that unconditional selfless love of God], the synthesis made by Augustine bishop of Hippo, in Northern Africa. Above, I see two reasons why these words are untrue:
