If I ever have to visit the USA, I'm not taking any smartphone or laptop with me. I don't want US customs to go through it and check my private chat apps for suspiciously deleted messages.

And when people hear prison they think of huge facilities where people are held for years and years. That is why some posters - even here state she was held with murderers, instead of a holding facility where she was detained overnight and then sent home

You complain about the "intellectual honesty" of the other posters and then mischaracterized the facility. At some point it has been used as a contract facility for state prisioners. Federal "detention centers" (as they are called) are typically where federal prisoners who can't get bail (and it isn't super hard in the federal system to get bail) are held until sentencing. Do you not recall the Manhattan detention center?

Yes, she was held there just one night, the same with "Dog the Bounty Hunter", but it is a proper prison, not some holding cell at the back of the customs facility.
