it no offer .it a warning and your not refusing me anything and it wont go away .
Sounds more like a threat. I don't respond well to threats. Either you are able to present good reasons to believe your claims or you aren't. The fact that you must resort to threats suggests that the latter is most likely the case.

That's because you live in a world of make believe.
How do you reconcile make believe with the following:

Time on the Gregorian & Julian calendars broken up into BC & AD.

Holy books everywhere; Scripture etched on buildings public & private; crosses erected on property; Scripture written on billboards; bumper stickers; religious iconography & symbols; beautiful edifices; hymns & holidays; hospitals, soup kitchens, missions, and humanitarian organizations; crosses on flags; wars fought in the name of religion; countries investing assets to eradication of Jews & Christians; websites; Christian schools & universities; public debates; books written on theology; picnics and the like?

If all this is make believe, then I would say atheists are the minority.

and yet it remains - The Good news in the midst of all this is that we are more then a sack of chemicals .for in us was breathed the breath of life .

the lord Jesus said .. "this is eternal life .. that they may know you the one true living God"

the good news is .. God has Made a way for us to be reconciled unto himself that we might once more "know him" on a personal level .for from the abundance of his heart he spoke to save us and his word became flesh and his name is JESUS and who ever believes on him will not perish but have everlasting life .

it is a very narrow view the narrow way that leads to eternal life .

That's just your god, more people believe in other gods or none at all than believe in your god so which is the right god? none of them would be the best bet.

Religions are based on fantasy and make believe, by all means tell yourself something else but reality can not and will not be denied, it will catch you in the end,
even then we will still not know what 'nothing' is even though we will be part of it just as we didn't know what 'nothing' was before we were born.

You deny reality and all religions other than your own then wonder why people think there is something wrong with you, try putting yourself in their shoes.

Depending on how old you are you might live to see atheists outnumber Christians in the US, not so astounding just a country growing up.

Atheists are definitely in the minority.
One does tend to wonder why...since it's supposed to be the "default position"...

To me, there is very little between Atheists and people who claim to be religious and don't practice any religion. To me, pople have to be active in their faith to be apart of their faith, because it is their God that they are trying to please. If they truly believe that God exists, then they understand that he can see what they are or are not doing and take steps accordingly. Thse who merely show up in church and go through the prescribed motions aren't really religious. I'd call them spiritual, but nothing else.

Religion is not just a label like Tommy Hillfinger and it is not worn by people just to get those peoples approval.

Christians are in the minority as well, the world over. And, your particular brand of Christianity, likely makes you a minority amongst Christians.

I can fully understand why the majority of people claim to believe in a God. There is a long history of man creating Gods and beliefs are typically introduced to children very early in life and they latch onto that, at least for a period of time.

Here is reality though; beliefs in Gods has slowly but steadily declined the world over in the last 50 years and there appears to be a strong correlation between higher levels of education (learning about the universe) and moving away from a belief in God.

I dunno...

Here’s the breakdown of “The Global Religious Landscape,” based on an analysis of more than 2,500 censuses, surveys and population registers:

• 2.2 billion Christians (32 percent of the world’s population).
• 1.6 billion Muslims (23 percent).
• 1 billion Hindus (15 percent.
• 500 million Buddhists (7 percent).
• 400 million people (6 percent) practicing various folk or traditional religions, including African traditional religions, Chinese folk religions, American Indian religions and Australian aboriginal religions.

There are 14 million Jews, and an estimated 58 million people — slightly less than 1 percent of the global population – belong to other religions, including the Baha’i faith, Jainism, Sikhism, Shintoism, Taoism, Tenrikyo, Wicca and Zoroastrianism, “to mention just a few,” the study says.

About half of all Christians in the world are Catholic, 37 percent are part of the Protestant tradition, 12 percent are Orthodox Greek or Russian.

The largest population of Christians (243 million) is found, incidentally, in the United States, followed by Brazil, Mexico, Russia, the Philippines, Nigeria and China.

Christians do seem to be a rather large minority.

However, you're right about one thing...my "brand" of Christianity is pretty exclusive. But then, there never were too many of us.

I have read just about every study done on religious beliefs. Some vary a bit, but virtually all recognize the slow but steady decline in religious beliefs.
