How did it? I know of several posters who switched with the wind.

One infamous poster (15000+ posts if I recall) changed from Baptist to Catholic to Agnostic to Atheist to Deist back to Catholic in about a 2 week period. And then basically repeated this for the next year.

I changed from Catholic to pagan to Mormon, to Jehovah's Witness, to atheist, to Christian and back to Catholic .....all in one day!!! Do I get a cookie or something?

I'm not the one pushing nonChristian beliefs in this thread. I've yet to see anyone here promoting bigotry, intolerance and inequality who doesn't identify themselves as a Christian.

I'm simply saying; if you identify with Christian values, why do you have such a problem with putting them into practice?

Why do you have such a problem with me being able to present my thoughts here? You have the right to present yours, why are you so opposed to allowing others that same right? See; that's the problem here. You think because you're a Christian that you should have control over nonChristians and they shouldn't be allowed to present their ideas. But such an idea is distinctly nonChristian. It's pure intolerance. So before trying to point a finger at me, perhaps you should ask yourself what it is you truly believe and whether or not you can practice what you claim to believe.

Beastt, I have nothing against you but this IS a Christian website not a secular one. I welcome you here but do not wish to listen to your point of view concerning Christians because is only your opinion.

There is only one moderator on the staff that routinely used a sock in the forums and he is no longer on staff. And I am not interested in invading the privacy of the other moderators. If they wish to disclose their other accounts, that is their business. I am not going to ask, because I don't care.

The point is that they shouldn't have sockpuppets, period.

It was inbuilt deceit - recommended no less as Mod policy - a policy that was for the longest time NOT divulged to the membership.

And it was frequently abused.

Shouldn't there be a one week time-out imposed on voting once someone changes their faith icon?

People really need to think this through. We should be more stable in our faith and not act out of anger or hurt feelings.

The thing you don't get is this is a christian website. Why is it you can't understand christian rules and regulations should apply here?

They could do that under old CF. They have been able to do that for the last two years. The difference is that a mod cannot "yank" someone's faith icon now.

Plus, they could pose as a sock anytime they wanted.

I don't disagree with you, but before I never encountered an atheist sporting an Anglican faith icon posting in what is now Nicene theology. Faith icons need to be moderated to prevent abuse.

Regardless. All accounts have to abide by the rules, although that is a pretty loose requirement now. I actually encourage the responsible use of socks by the staff, so they can express their opinions in the threads without tainting their positions as moderators, (or persecutors, or Inquisitors, whatever your favorite pet word is).

Yes, we should. I suffer from high functioning clinical depression. I have my whole life. It is not something to be ashamed of or something to be bashed for. It is an illness much as diabetes or anything else.

Can we please behave in a civil manner? Polls should remain open until it is time for them to close. It's a VB flaw that they close after 1000 posts. The moderators are simply trying to keep the poll open until Erwin wants to close it. There is no sinister motive.

I have already answered this pages ago telling yopu that you are equal to me and I do not deny that however I am not here to serve you I am here to serve God and I abide by His Laws not some governments or anything else and I will go done defending my Lord's right to to be Lord and first
