  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hi soda

how are you today?
I'm feeling pretty good today...tired but that's to be expected.

what are you plans for the week?

I'm actually going home for thanksgiving!!! I'm soo excited because I miss my family sooo much!

What did you have for breakfast?

I usually eat breakfast but I was running a little late this morning....so nothing...but for lunch I had a cafe sandwich from panera bread.

3 wishes?

Fulfilling God's will for my life.

Gaining an awesome education.
Reaching the Good News to people who have yet to hear it.

If you had a different name, what would it be?

Obadiah, I love Old Testament names even though I already have one ;) .

Ever consider getting a tattoo? what and where?

No, I've never considered getting a tatt.

What things that are older than you that you like?

My sister, my parents, The Bible, British Literature from the 18th century yummy, Jesus (He's been here since time began  ), hmmm well I could go on forever with this sort of inquery!

What's normal?

Who decides that? ....in merriam webster's collegiate dictionary it says, conforming to a type, standard, or regular pattern.

In my social psychology class we've studied situational norms and conformity and I have to tell you people are such chickens. Researchers have conducted studies in which a participant will sit with a group of confederates (actors manipulate a situation and perform actions upon the researches request) and the participant will conform to a wrong answer that the confederates give even though the answer is obviously wrong!!! One famous study asks the group to say which line in a group of lines is longest and the results were as stated above.

This stuff gets me into philosophical debate...

Where would you be right now if you could be anywhere?

If I could be anywhere in the world right now, I would be in Jerusalem or Paris...I've never been on a plane before and I really want to travel the world one day.

Favorite word?

Well as an English major that changes daily, but in honor of one of my English professors it's currently the word...Bellies. It's innovative to the English language, you don't see the word bellies in a boring term paper very often and if you can stimulate the reader of your paper with fun language that's a plus.

I would never...!?!?!

I would never get drunk! It tells us in the Bible specifically to not get "drunk in the spirit" through alcohol and after seeing the kids stumbling all over, puking in the bushes here at PSU....I really don't want to look like that.

Your motto/credo?

hmmmm,

Where there is grace, there is no race.

I think Joel Olstein said that once.

Thanks so much for the questions soda!! You have a wonderful and blessed as well!!!

God Bless!

Yes, as a matter of fact I do ;)
I can't say I'm suprised but in that case my next question is:
Do I make you horny baby? Do I?

(In case you are incredibly confused an a little scared at this stage it's a quote from a film. Don't get the wrong impression)

Thanksgiving food?

Also, what you are most thankful for at the moment.

Hey there  ,
My favorite thanksgiving food is pumkin pie...i absolutely love a slice of fresh pumkin pie!! :yum:
Currently, I am most thankful for having the oppurtunity of going to school and gaining a great education at an accredited university.

Who inspired you in your life, to make you want to be a better person?

hmmm, that's a great question...I suppose a person in my life who inspired me to be a better person would be my mom. My mom has always been not only my best friend but a great role model.

I can't say I'm suprised but in that case my next question is:
