CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Often you'll put a verse after you post, that corresponds with the point you were making. When this is done, is it from your memory or off the top of your head? Or do you have to pull out the bible and start looking stuff up?

To your first question, most verses I recall from memory but, sometimes I research and certain parts of the Bible where I know I'll find the answer I'm looking for.
Hmmmmmmm, in response to your second question it depends...sometimes I'll take a full Saturday, from 10:00 in the morning to 1:00 at night just to get my work completed! I'm an English major (considering a Religious Studies minor) with that said, I sometimes have a monsterous load of reading and writing
. During the week I use all the time I possibly can after classes to get everything done. I suppose to summarize, I use every chance I get to study, read and compose papers ...taking little breaks within reason .God Bless

Hmmm well, I'd have to say that the majority of my friends are believers of Christ but, I do have a lot of friends who haven't found the joy I have. I try to witness to them, bring them to church, plant seeds of the Good News to them

Okey dokey, I can takle the generic
. I mostly like Christian bands like David Crowder, Newsboys, Kutless, Thirdday, etc. As for other genre's I like some country...Faith Hill, Trace Adkins, The Wreckers. Some alternative is good too, some of The Starting Line, The Shins, The Smiths. Thanks 2scoops! God Bless

I saw Kutless last Friday in Cincinnati Ohio. Very good concert. They played with Red, Run Kid Run, and Disciple.

They are both Christian rock bands. Two of my favorite.

I saw Third Day last Sunday and it was also a very good concert...partially because it was my first one! I've never heard of Red or Day of Fire! I'll have to put them on my que list on napster God Bless
