Should be answerable with a little simple trigonometry. Choose one, and set up some calculations. You shouldn't need anything above simple algebra for this problem.

Depends on how different is different. The stars move about relative to each other as we orbit the Sun - it's called stellar parallax, and can be exploited to measure their relative (and, thus, absolute) distances.
