I agree. On one hand, it's good to have the support, but on the other hand their using Standing Rock to promote their own political agenda though the two don't seem mutually incompatible.

I removed the picture of elder Karen Little Wounded because I was unsure of copyright and I could not get the link to the Facebook page right. It kept showing as media and not as a link. You can see the picture on Waniya Locke's profile page.

I'm not posting anything else from Censored News either, although I think it's a great website. I just read how she doesn't want any content used without her permission and she doesn't want any of her content used in advertising schemes.

If you're there in person, how do you get accommodations on a reservation? Do they have hotels? Is the process different for someone with Native American ancestry versus folks without Native American ancestry?
