Rather that may be the whole point and reason for the tumultuous influx.... !

Millions were enticed - paid or guaranteed daily help with their travel, daily food, clothes, water, and so forth, to walk to the usa. Millions who perhaps were content to remain where they were, but were motivated to go along by powers at play.
Agree 100%. It is so obvious. Trump et al are paying migrants to flood the border so he can use it as a political football. Along with his sabotaging of the border deal by pressuring R members of Congress, his creepy photo op with Riley Laken's family, it's obvious. He thinks it's helping him and doesn't want the issue to go away.

I mean, the deal had even more concessions to Republicans than the bill they wrote themselves in 2018.

When Biden claimed during the SOTU that Trump sabotaged it, the Republican from Oklahoma who wrote the bill nodded in agreement, on camera!

It's so sinister, and right out there in the open. Thank you for pointing it out.

Wasn't Trump. Months if not a year or more ago, his and your and mine enemy was in the worldwide news, not denying it either, having been publicized they were enticing and paying a small multitude to walk from their home up thru central america and mexico to the border.
Trump and others who wanted to stop that might have stopped that from happening, but billions of dollars more money, and world power, was encouraging the massive migration.
Hmm, no, that doesn't make sense. Republicans had a very real, clear solution to the border problem just a few weeks ago and it's been widely reported by Republicans themselves that Trump torpedoed it.

It's not the first time this play has been made. Everyone remembers when Nixon sent Kissinger to torpedo Johnson's Vietnam peace negotiations in a dark, cynical ploy to win the presidency against Johnson.

As a reminder, Trump's closest longtime ally and tutor has been Roger Stone, who worked on Nixon's campaign.

The bill to which you are referring about a few weeks ago was a very weak bill. Most conservatives recognized that it did nothing to stop the massive illegal immigration. Instead, that garbage bill would have only tried to attempt to manage it better. Most conservatives know that H.R. 2, which was passed in the House of Representatives almost a year ago, is a far and away superior piece of legislation to stop the massive illegal immigration.

Trump employed people in his hotels who were not authorized to work in the United States.

No, that's not true. The most recent bill was the product of literally months of negotiations. McConnell, their minority leader, and many other Republicans—Comer, Lankford, to name a few—supported it until hours before it was dead. It contained so many concessions to Republicans that half a dozen Democrats refused to vote for it. McConnell's flip and its relation to the Trump campaign has been widely reported. Many GOP members have been reported as saying "a better deal would likely not be reached under Trump due to Democratic opposition, meaning an agreement formed now could benefit Trump in the future." And yet they still killed it, apparently at Trump's insistence.

No worries about being misinformed, it happens to all of us. Good information is hard to come by these days. Here's more reportage:

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is facing criticism amid reports that a proceed deal linking border protection policy and foreign aid could be off the table as Donald Trump wants to focus on immigration for his presidential campaign.

McConnell held a meeting with Republican senators to discuss that the politics surrounding a $106 billion deal put forward by President Joe Biden and negotiated with lawmakers for months, which would see military aid go to Ukraine and Israel as well as increased border protection, has now changed.

According to quotes reported by PunchBowl News and CNN, McConnell is alleged to have said at the meeting that discussions around securing the border have flipped for the Republicans, and that the party should now not do anything that may "undermine" Trump, the GOP's presumed 2024 presidential nominee.

Trump is once again pushing hardline immigration promises as part of his latest presidential campaign, and has previously suggested not agreeing to a deal on border policy unless Republicans get "EVERYTHING needed to shut down the INVASION of Millions & Millions of people" illegally entering the country. Trump has also repeatedly used the high levels of illegal immigration at the southern border to attack Biden ahead of the presumed election rematch in November.

Bigger picture of evil in this world does. With no reference to politic parties at all, a small multitude of people who otherwise would not have left their home, who could not in any known way walk from the home hundreds or more miles to the border, were enticed/ bribed/ paid to do so. This was worldwide news for a while, not disputed as far as I saw by anyone anywhere.
Hmm, no, I didn't see that anywhere, and still don't, after an exhaustive google search. The reality is that migrants aren't paid and have never been paid to travel here, but there are systems set up in certain cities to provide relief—this is so while they are here, they don't drain our emergency services. Maybe that's what you are referring to. Or maybe this is the story you heard about migrants getting paid? It's a falsehood and that link provides the fact check.

So what ? Many politicians, many rich people, and some or maybe many poor people, in the usa, do the same. Many corporations and corporate farms do likewise, otherwise , apparently, many things would not get done. i.e. it is with questionable motive or purpose for that to be presented as if it mattered at all.
Employment is what drives them here. Some might say it's extremely hypocritical to complain about border issues while contributing to them.

Google is not a reliable source, btw.
Even the news is not, most days. Don't count on a true story remaining in the news longer than a day or two.
I did not post about what you saw someplace anyway.
As for other information contributed in the forum and this thread, caveat emptor ........
Do tell where you get your information that vanishes within a couple days so we can all be ready to catch these nuggets of truth when they drop.

Google is a search engine, the largest in the world, and no one gets information from it directly, it simply lists sources and one determines the veracity of the information based on that. Besides google there are plenty of platforms where people can freely distribute information and sources that verify your claims would be widely disseminated: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and google indexes these as well—still nothing. You are free to list your own sources here and we can discuss it directly. That seems like the easiest way to have a conversation about reality. If you've noticed, I try to include blue links in my posts whenever I can. Otherwise one can make whatever claims they want without substantiation.

And so they do, yes, so they do.
Even when a post includes citations , even from experts,
yes, so they do.... so they do...
The truth has been censored since hearst owned most newspapers a century ago, and longer. You cannot find a time in the usa , or the world, where the truth is loved and accepted and reported substantially and reliably. No one can. That's the way it is on earth, for now, until Jesus returns.
Yes, but you see the problem surely?

If it comes down to experts with citations vs. your sentences on a forum, the experts are the clear winner. Their workings-out can be examined. That's how citations work. Truth can be discerned if you actually try to look.

You can't just wave your hand at "experts" and declare them bunk. Endless cynicism at everything isn't smart, it's just lazy.
