Below are the verses in the Creed CF uses for the word "apostolic".No. I am sure there are many reasons. Some are unaware of the creeds. Others object to the terms "catholic" and "apostolic."
New Statement of Faith at Christian Forums
Christian Forums has changed our Statement of Faith to the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed...............................
Christian Forums will be using the version of the Creed developed at the second Ecumenical Council held in 381AD in the city of Constantinople.
In one, (Matthew 16: 18)
holy, (1 Peter 2: 5,9)
catholic*, (Mark 16: 15)
and apostolic Church. (Acts 2: 42; Ephesians 2: 19-22)
Acts 2:
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
43 A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.
44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.
46 With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Ephesians 2:
19 Then, therefore, ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens of the saints, and of the household of God, 20 being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being chief corner-[stone], 21 in whom all the building fitly framed together doth increase to an holy Sanctuary in the Lord, 22 in whom also ye are builded together, for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
