No. I am sure there are many reasons. Some are unaware of the creeds. Others object to the terms "catholic" and "apostolic."
Below are the verses in the Creed CF uses for the word "apostolic".

New Statement of Faith at Christian Forums

Christian Forums has changed our Statement of Faith to the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed...............................
Christian Forums will be using the version of the Creed developed at the second Ecumenical Council held in 381AD in the city of Constantinople.

In one, (Matthew 16: 18)
holy, (1 Peter 2: 5,9)
catholic*, (Mark 16: 15)
and apostolic Church. (Acts 2: 42; Ephesians 2: 19-22)

Acts 2:
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
43 A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.
44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.
46 With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved
.

Ephesians 2:
19 Then, therefore, ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens of the saints, and of the household of God, 20 being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being chief corner-[stone], 21 in whom all the building fitly framed together doth increase to an holy Sanctuary in the Lord, 22 in whom also ye are builded together, for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

I find that an unusual scripture choice to support that statement.

BTW - you left off the asterisk note on that line:

*The word "catholic" (literally, "complete," "universal," or "according to the whole") refers to the universal church of the Lord Jesus Christ and not necessarily or exclusively to any particular visible denomination, institution, or doctrine.

Why not just say "universal" and not have to fight the confusion?

Yes! When we feeling the need to identify ourselves or others with at title other than follower of Christ...there are, most times, hidden motives... I find it breeds division.

Thats interesting. It's supposed to be a flag to rally around.

Forgive me...

If people claim to be apostolic, I demand to see a miracle.

Squeamish - "(of a person) easily made to feel sick, faint, or disgusted, especially by unpleasant images, such as the sight of blood."

I wouldn't say the use of the term makes me feel ill though.

Is your Denomination apostolic? If so, how?
Check out the stuff under me user name.....

duz ya sees "non-denom" there? :p

^_^
I do now ^_^

Sounds like my kinda church.....

What is a non-denominational church? What do non-denominational churches believe?

When a church is non-denominational, does that mean it has no need of other churches? That may be the belief of some, but it is certainly not the example we find in Scripture.
The book of Acts and the New Testament Epistles make it clear that the churches communicated with one another regularly. As Paul and his companions made their missionary journeys, it was not uncommon for the believers to send letters to the other churches (Acts 18:27), or to greet one another through his letters (Romans 16:16). Likewise, when there was a great need, the churches worked interdependently to meet that need—for example, the collection for the famine in Jerusalem (Acts 11:29; 2 Corinthians 8:4).
The various churches of the New Testament, though independent, self-governing bodies, were definitely connected in fellowship and cooperative ministry, giving us an example to follow today.

The measure of any church, whether inside or out of a denomination, is not how it is organized nor what name it is called, but rather how faithfully it adheres to the teachings of the Word of God. No church is inerrant, because churches are made of people who are capable of error.
Even the apostles, with all the gifts God gave them, were not without error. Paul records in Galatians 2:11 that “when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong.” Peter, the first to give the gospel to a Gentile, gave in to pressure by the Judaizers to separate himself from Gentile believers. Paul's ability to confront Peter was not based on his position as an apostle, but on the revealed truth of God's Word. Paul complimented the believers in Berea (Acts 17:11) for checking his own teaching against the Bible to find out if he was telling them straight doctrine.

All believers need to be like the Bereans, checking what we are taught against the Word of God to find out if those things are so. If our church is out of line with God's Word, we must lovingly, patiently give instruction or correction. If it will not be corrected, then we should seek out a church that is faithfully obeying God's Word.

Acts 17:
10 As soon as night had fallen, the brothers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went into the Jewish synagogue. 11 Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true. 12 As a result, many of them believed, along with quite a few prominent Greek women and men.

Because there is already a thread on that topic.

Why didn't CF and/or Creed capitalize "Apostolic"?

Now let's see what wiki says about "apostolic"

Apostolic - Wikipedia

The Apostles
An Apostle meaning one sent on a mission:
Specific to the Roman Catholic Church
National churches
Christian denominations
Concepts
  • An Apostolic see is any episcopal see whose foundation is attributed to one or more of the Apostles. (For the Roman Catholic usage, when capitalized and used with the definite article, see above).
  • Apostolic poverty, a doctrine professed in the 13th century by certain religious orders
  • Apostolic King, hereditary title of the King of Hungary

Listen to the sports news and you will see the division rallying around flags cause. When I boast this flag and get closer to it in my own head, I find myself looking at those who arent and thanking God Im not like the Sinners who arent as close to it as I am. I prefer to see myself as no more than one who was lost and then found......by no good will of my own. If I start calling myself greater religious names.....i feel pride can creep in. This may be different for others.

Thank you. This is informative. My view on "non-denominational" is neither here nor there. It's not that serious. It is what it is. Why would anyone "care" what "label" my church falls under?

The bottom line?

It's how we are "before" and "after" and "in-between" "church time" that matters. It's about our relationship with the God we say we believe in behind closed doors, and how our relationship with the living God reflects on our interactions with our families, our neighbors, the clerk in the store, the waitress, the taxi driver, the guy laying there in a corner of an alley on a pile of newspapers and/or blankets, the panhandler, and the very homeless-looking older man, shuffling up the street, and then digging through a trash can for something to eat.

When it comes right down to it, who cares what "label" a church might have or not have.

The bottom line is, was this subject brought up when Jesus interacted on the cross with the thief hanging beside Him?

I can't be squeamish about a term that means nothing to me.

The fewer qualifiers we use to identify ourselves, the less division we have. We could just call ourselves human and include unbelievers, too, but we all have a choice to make as to where a distinction needs to be made. Not all followers of Christ are really followers of Christ.

I would prefer CF take down the creed. It's being misused and it forces people to lie and say they are in agreement with it to be included as Christian.

Either use it correctly, or don't use it at all.

Forgive me...
