God will select the saints then just as He does today.

The Tribulation is 7 Years in length.

Daniel 9:27.......
"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:
(SEVEN YEARS) and in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured on the desolate."

The GREAT Tribulation is then 3 and 1/2 years.

Daniel 9:27 says there will be a peace agreement for 7 years and then halfway through it the sacrifices will be stopped and an abomination erected on a wing of the temple (same day apparently) by the Prince who shall come who will be the A/C.

To me, it seems clear that the GREAT Tribulation is 1260 days and begins after the sacrifices are stopped and the A/C stands in the Temple and declares himself to be God, and his statue is set up in the Temple.

Imminency, as it relates to Bible prophecy, simply means that the return of Jesus Christ for the Church can happen at any moment. No warning signs will indicate a short-term countdown. We as Christians remain on alert 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If a wife knows her husband normally gets home from work shortly after 4:00 PM, she knows that beginning at 4:00 PM, his arrival is imminent. If the woman knows her husband has to work overtime, the imminency of his 4:00 PM return is then in doubt.

The only way for the rapture to be truly imminent is to have it transpire before the tribulation. If the Church were required to wait until after the manifestation of certain events, then there would be no doctrine of imminency.

Virtually all unrighteous, end-time aspects of society are derived from a Babylonian source. The true character of Babylon is revealed to John in Revelation 17:5 as a mystery that is exposed as:

Being 'left behind', as everyone will be on that Day, will be a severe test of faith for all, but especially for those who were expecting to be raptured. We are told to; Call upon the Name of the Lord, Acts 2:21 for His protection.

Babylon was the most important city in the world for about 2,000 years in the past
and the Bible tells us that she will be revived and brought onto the end-time stage to
play a leading role in Rev. 14:8; 16:19; 17—18.

My brother, End-times prophecy demands that Babylon be rebuilt and become an important city in world affairs during the tribulation.

Isaiah 13:19 says........
“And Babylon, the beauty of kingdoms, the glory of the Chaldeans’ pride, will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.”

The context of Isaiah 13 is “the day of the LORD,” the most common Old Testament term for our more widely know term of the tribulation.

We know by reading Rev. 18 that there will be a city named Babylon.

Then when we read Rev. 17 we see another Babylon that is pictured as the source of ungodly religion, government, and economics.
Virtually all unrighteous, end-time aspects of society are derived from a Babylonian source. The true character of Babylon is revealed to John in Revelation 17:5 as a mystery that is exposed as:
“BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH”

So as the SYSTEM of all false religion, Mother Babylon is the source from which arises false
Christianity in our own day and certainly during the tribulation. All the streams of
apostate Christianity—Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodox, and Liberal
Protestantism—will converge into ecclesiastical Babylon (Revelation 17) during the
tribulation.

So we see a SYSTEM in Rev. !7 destroyed and then we see a CITY in chapter 18 destroyed and both are named BABYLON.

The commun point about the description of the Babylon system[old mystery religion ] and the city of Babylon during the tribulation in Revelation is this:

6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

city of Babylon
Revelation 18:24
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

What is the City that Jesus describe who kill the prophets...guess what ?
Matthew 23:37
"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.
