Are we all the result of (prior) conditioning or programming...?

Which God are you trying to bless me with? There is more than one you know....
Really, there is more than one God...?

You sure you don't want to rethink that statement maybe...?

There are those that are "called gods" (by some, like you, but not me) but are by their very nature "not gods" and are shown out to be not god's and most definitely "not God", by people like me...

You can disagree with him, but that is just nasty and mean spirited.
Hardly, it's legitimate considering he doesn't seem to believe in the reality of God Almighty. Spiritualism worships the god of this world and that is what the OP is trying to infer.

I'm trying to "free" apparently, your puny little minds, but "whatever"...

Accuse, Accuse, Accuse, Judge, Judge, Judge, that which you do not understand and know nothing about, namely, "me"...

Whatever...

Either way there is something or things that make us different, and I wish to try and know the nature of those things... And whether they are truly of us, or are or is, based on our true, real choices or not...?

God Bless!

I would venture to say, our differences are determined by our personalities, our personalities have a direct relation on the things we like or dislike, we will move in the direction we like to move towards, we seek what we like, the personality of my brother and sister have made them to be closer to each other than to me, they seem to have more things in common than they do with me.

We don't argue and fight, we just go our own ways.

What I'm saying is, were not programmed by God or anything else.
But through our Genes, we do inherit from our Ancestors physical things we aren't even aware of, I am sure there are other emotional things we get from them as well.

It's all a mix of what we actually are, depending how big our family tree might be, and we add to the diversity with our own lives into the mix for future generation of my branch on that tree.

Thank You very much for actually addressing the OP BTW...

How can you/we know that for sure though...? What made, or makes up our personalities, or what makes up how are we shaped or formed, or how we turn out...?

How can you/we be so sure...?

God Bless!

.
That's your opinion, but we are to give a brother the benefit of the doubt until he says something which is not inferred.
Just try answering his questions as they were asked.

Food for thought.

Eph. 4:1-3
1) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2) With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

You have asked all the questions up till now, so here a couple for you.

Have you ever made a choice as to how you would do something in your life which was directed by something which had already happened in your life?

Do you always do the same sorts of things the same way?
Do you know why?

We have learned experiences which determine thing in us and how we become and move into our future.

Maybe this will explain things some.

What did you mean by prior conditioning or programming?

We are a combination of flesh, soul and spirit. Nature and nurture both play a part in who we become. Then you need to add in the affects on environment on your body and mind, including what you eat
Are we all the result of (prior) conditioning or programming...? Or are all our life choices based on, or are all the result of (prior) conditioning or programming...?

"All of us" say, all the way up to "now" or not...?

Is our life(s) one big equation...? All the result of prior conditioning or programming....? And choice really an illusion, or can be all predicted, and is entirely predictable, at least, or not...?

If you had someone else's life down to "every single smallest experience or condition", would you "be them" basically...? And would you make all the same exact choices they did in their lives...? Or is there something that separates us and makes us all different in some way, with "choices"...? And even if we did have all their conditions and experiences down to the smallest degree, would we might have done it differently, regardless of that...? Or not...?

For example Adam and Eve... If you were Adam and/or Eve, would you have done it, or chose differently, or not...?

And all of the peoples choices after that, all a result of everything prior to that, or not...?

Comments...?

Even and including prior conditions of even in the womb, or prior preexisting hereditary or genetic conditions even... If you had all the exact same (conditions, conditioning, experiences) as someone else, would you be like them, or exactly like them, basically... In all their life choices after that and "everything" basically...?

Or is there something that separates us and makes us different that way...?

Or are we all really only following "one big program" basically...? All the way up to "now" basically...? And are all entirely predictable say, by a God...?

Comments...?

God Bless!
We are a combination of flesh, soul and spirit. Nature and nurture both play a part in who we become. Then you need to add in the affects on environment on your body and mind, including what you eat, medicines, if you take drugs and/or alcohol, chemicals you are exposed to, etc.

I have an allergy which includes perfumes, including perfumed cleaning chemicals, etc. As a result of this I have done research into whats in them and its shocking. Toxins, neuro-toxins, hormone inhibitors (pregnant women wearing perfume has been identified as a leading cause for increasing male fertility in their sons), narcotics (got to keep you addicted to them), petro-chemicals and many other unknown chemicals which dont have to be disclosed because they are regarded as a trade secret. Most of the scents in perfume are chemically altered petro-chemicals as they last longer than the natural ones. Even so called natural ones are often filed with toxic chemicals. I have often seen that the children of parents who wear excessive perfume are far more likely to be the ones with behavioral issues like, ADHD, learning difficulties, etc. I genuinely believe that one day it will be bigger than smoking as a health risk.

The point of this being the effect environment has on the brain and how your body works.

God has given us free will. Add in something that changes how that free will function, whether toxins, medication such as anti-depressants (designed by function to alter the mind), abuse, trauma, etc and we are very different. Please note however that medicines are given for a reason and the benefits usually outweigh the negatives. Please do not stop taking medicines, it can be dangerous.

Yes and maybe, "maybe" sometimes no, "maybe"... that's what I'm trying to figure out...?

Do you always do the same sorts of things the same way?

No, but that could also be some sort of programming as well...

Do you know why?

No, I don't know either way...? Kinda what I'm trying to get at here...

But God has clearly shown me that he can and has been able to fully predict everything in my life up to now though...

We have learned experiences which determine thing in us and how we become and move into our future.

Yeah, but is that all predictable and fully knowable, by an all-knowing God...?

Maybe this will explain things some.

Not really, but thanks anyway...

God Bless!

I am curious as to how your using the word predict, are you saying God Predicts (Predetermines) our future?

Possibly, I don't know...?

That's what I'm trying to "get at" here...?

Can we know either way...?

And if we can, what does that mean for us...?

So when you sin (all are sinners and fall short) do you think that the holy God causes you to do what is unholy, or is it your choice? Do you choose to repent or do you think God makes you repent? The bible speaks of God being a jealous God and an angry God. Do you think it is righteous for a holy god to be jealous and angry at people for doing what he made them do?
