See I tried to tell people way back in the beginning of this thread about the serpent tuba and that was why the tuba is truly of the devil I worry for the soul of those who voted no it isn't. They will truly have to work out their salvation in fear and trembling over this acceptance of tubas. Once we accept tubas then what, wholes bands of raving, loud instruments will take hold.

Certainly tubas are not of the devil but they are unnecessarily loud, and when I'm trying to play in the church orchestra it drowns out the melodic sounds my cello is TRYING to make!!!!!

Of course not. Tubas are the musical representation of the Wrath of God. (And they sound that way, too!) The Tuba Mirum is the passage which immediately follows the Dies Irae.

While the tuba might not be evil in and of itself, it often inflicts pain on both the player and those in the immediate vicinity (neighboring states). Because people can't be trusted to make responsible decisions about the tuba, it should be outlawed.
After the tuba is outlawed, those who suddenly find themselves without an instrument should take up the clarinet in order to retrain their poor ears. Sort of an auditory detox...

To the best of my knowledge, tubas are not of the devil, because when combined with other instruments, they can make wonderful symphonies of music!

However, tubas can be used for bad purposes, such as really loud, cheesy ads that are on at 3am during a nice quiet episode of M*A*S*H, which you are watching because you want to get to sleep and you the episode backwards and forwards. And worse, the tuba calls you into the store, and then you want to see what interesting stuff the store has to spend money on, like the three Sirens of the mythology, only in annoying late-night tuba form.
