Ok but evaporation is true, and clouds are not above the sun and moon. The firmament is above the sky. The sun ,moon and all stars, etc are within it.
Glad your not a scientist, for they have no credibility. they are here to confuse us and deny the glory of God.
NASA rocket or space shuttle launches are just for show,"yep there it goes to outer space" people are thinking. It's what I used to think. I'm not an expert on the bible,I simply believe it to be true. We need to trust God ,have faith in God.
So why can't that be the meaning the the firmament, to separate water from the ground from the sky, and most importantly, why is there an extra huge body of water surrounding everything? What is the point of that?
I know why you're saying all this, because your quoting Genesis 1:14, but could not that verse and the succeeding verses simply mean that the sun and moon and such are seen in the sky, the firmament? I admit it sounds otherwise, and does sound as though it means they are physically placed within it, but I've never been able to tell myself a purpose for there to be water above the sun, it simply, philosophically and metaphysically speaking, doesn't make sense, as evaporation is a true phenomenon.
