TasMan: they can't. It's just another case of making Gods Word fit personal desires. They also can't explain why it's only in the last 20 years you know since Tattoos have become very popular in the world that people in the church are trying to say that they are okay in Gods eyes.

I don't think it's sinful, but I find it detestable. I tend to lose respect for anyone I see wearing a tattoo.

But I'm a puritan. Concerning earings (male & female), nail polish, noisemaking shoes, etc, simile.

If you are debating the idea of getting a tattoo, you need to carefully dwell on scriptures and talk to God. If you really listen God will tell you what to do.

We'll never win this war. It is against those who pick and chose what they want to follow and believe. Not follow Gods word fully. As in Keeping ALL the Laws.

If you can't do that, Then you are GUILTY of sinning as well.
