and you wonder why people question your faith . . . . :sigh:

Did you actually read what you had written Maxie darling?
Yes I did read what I wrote.
I did not say what God said 2000 years ago was wrong AND is still wrong today - which would give the meaning you want to take - but rather I said: What God said 200 years ago was wrong is still wrong today. If you were not so truculent you would see that.

I DON'T wonder that people question my faith, I don't give a stuff whether they do or don't, it is you than seems concerned, not me! :D :D
I'm not concerned that people question your faith - I'm concerned when they do NOT question your faith given the heterodox theology you repeatedly espouse.

If you are so bent on keeping and quoting Levitical Law max, Keep them all.
If you can't do that, Then you are GUILTY of sinning as well.
Simple point that keeps getting ignored.
Ignored? Not hardly. Who claimed to be NOT guilty of sinning?? Not I. I fully admit that I am a sinner. FURTHER - I am not - nor have I ever - attempted to make a case to justify myself in doing wrong when I do it unlike those who want to justify their tattoos.

And I get a big kick outta those who LOVE to quote Levitical scripture when it has nothing to do with today.
BTW, DO you keep ALL the Levitical Laws today ??
I thought not.
The 613 mitvot have EVERYTHING to do with today. If the law is of no effect then Christ died in vain.

QUESTION: why do you keep trying to make this argument about ME and what **I** do or do not do? This thread is not about ME it is discussion of "are tattoos wrong" and scripture CLEARLY states that they ARE WRONG.

Now you have the choice of either ignoring what scripture clearly states and doing what you want anyway or you can submit yourself to the Word of God and do what GOD says is the right thing to do.

This thread is quite funny really, who cares? Folk who want tats are going to get them, folk who don't, wont, end of story! This thread isn't likely to make a single person change their mind is it?
I know of at least one person who changer her mind about tattoos after reading this thread - she told me so in PM. :)

Why do YOU insist on doing the same and judging us ??

I have a valid point about Levitical Law. If you don't keep them ALL, Then you have NO PLACE to judge us.

As do you in NOT judging others repeatedly.
Your stance is duly noted, Now drop it.

Who have I judged? Have I once said: "if you have a tattoo you are going to burn in hell?" NOPE. I'm not judging anyone. I am however saying that some choices are the wrong ones to make. Choosing to get a tattoo when God says that they are wrong in the scripture is a bad choice. Attempting to justify this act of rebellion is also a bad choice.

EVEN IF I DID keep them all I have no place judging ANYONE. It's not my job. :)

You know - in your repeated condemnations against me for "judging" you do realize that you are guilty of what you are accusing me of doing!^_^

Did I ever once say I had gotten any new ones or was in the process of doing so ??
NO, The ones I have I got years ago.
ASSUMING is a bad choice my friend.

Sounds like it.

What condemnations ?? Not from me.
Those were my distinct and direct feelings from your posts.
Hard to hide it.
I do not judge anyone. I simply call them on their actions.

well if someone asked me, "should i get a tattoo" i'd say no. if someone had one, i'd love them all the same as if they didnt.

That is a wonderful thought. To bad some can't look past the tattoo and see the person inside. All they see is the tattoo and automatically assume they are a bad person. Thats been my experiences here with a few.

lol What in my reply gave you the idea that I was ASSUMING that you were planning to get any? I did not give a time frame in my last post - I said that choosing them is a wrong choice - if you choose them yesterday - today - or tomorrow.

Feeling convicted yet ??
Sounds like it.
Convicted about what?

YOUR feelings are what you have added to what I have said. :) I have not once condemned you or anyone one else. I have stated that the choice is wrong and that attempts to justify the choice are wrong. I have not directed my posts at YOU but at the issue. MEAN WHILE you keep addressing ME in you attempts to deflect from the meat of the issue by making statements that if I am not keeping all the law . . . .

Of whom do you speak? I have not seen anyone in this thread make such an assumption. I have seen people assume that if one takes a stand and says that tattoos are wrong and a bad choice then we MUST assuredly be judging and condemning those who have them . . . .:sigh:

That is MY choice I have to live with then. Not your concern.

Nope. I did not misunderstand anything.
You have made your feelings known time and again how you think of those with tattoos.
I am simply putting the facts forth to make a point. If you do NOT follow all the laws, Then there is no call in trying to force others to do so as well.
That is called hypocrisy. Follow the drift ??
