Nice point...It is just hard for me to accept something that sounds like a fairy tale.

I know it is but remember that for you, something might sound 'stupid' but for another it may sound like God given truth and a pillar for all of their faith whereby questioning it may metaphorically 'topple their temple' and cause them to have a complete disbelief which is the exact opposite of what we are supposed to achieve as Christians. It is better for someone to have belief, even if that belief is wrong in your opinion than to have no faith at all.

It’s always humorous to watch Christians fight other Christians on who is Christian. Why doesn’t everyone ask them directly instead of relying on anti-Mormonism propaganda?

We are Christians in a very real sense and that is coming to be more and more widely recognized. Once upon a time people everywhere said we are not Christians. They have come to recognize that we are, and that we have a very vital and dynamic religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. We, of course, accept Jesus Christ as our Leader, our King, our Savior...the dominant figure in the history of the world, the only perfect Man who ever walked the earth, the living Son of the living God. He is our Savior and our Redeemer through whose atoning sacrifice has come the opportunity of eternal life. correction... muslims do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. They do not exercise faith in him. They do not call upon his name... and they do not trust in him as their Saviour.

A christian is a follower of Christ. I am a follower of Christ, and I am a Mormon. Can a muslim say such?

Why do I have to prove her wrong? Have I not already quoted from the news site that she initially posted? Didn't it say there that polygamy was banned? It is she that is presenting the claims... surely she should first provide some evidence first.

But anyway... what the heck. Here... if you will accept the church's official statement as evidence... take a read:

"I wish to state categorically that this Church has nothing whatever to do with those practicing polygamy. They are not members of this Church. Most of them have never been members. They are in violation of the civil law. They know they are in violation of the law. They are subject to its penalties. The Church, of course, has no jurisdiction whatever in this matter.
If any of our members are found to be practicing plural marriage, they are excommunicated, the most serious penalty the Church can impose. Not only are those so involved in direct violation of the civil law, they are in violation of the law of this Church." (Gordon B Hinckley, Nov. 1998)

For all you ignorant Christians out there... Gordon B. Hinckley is God's prophet over the church.

She's obvioulsy refering to the 4 Golden Plates which JS claimed had the book of Mormon writen on them in an ancient form of Egyptian (which no one had ever heard of before or since) which he translated and publish in 1830 as the book of Mormon.

Also, a nice quote from your prophet:

"In bearing testimony of Jesus Christ, President Hinckley spoke of those outside the Church who say Latter-day Saints 'do not believe in the traditional Christ.' 'No, I don't. The traditional Christ of whom they speak is not the Christ of whom I speak. For the Christ of whom I speak has been revealed in this the Dispensation of the Fullness of Times. He together with His Father, appeared to the boy Joseph Smith in the year 1820, and when Joseph left the grove that day, he knew more of the nature of God than all the learned ministers of the gospel of the ages.'" No part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is affiliated with polygamy. Any member who involves himself with it is excommunicated. It's as simple as that.

You say mormons still practice it... you are utterly wrong. give me some evidence of this!

You say it is an acceptable mormon practice.. you are wrong. May i again repeat that it was banned long ago.. and is still banned today.

The people who practice polygamy consider themselves Mormons.

Obviously, they do not put their whole faith in that because they add other things to that belief that invalidates what you have said. Mormonism is not the only system that makes the same or very similar statements but are heretical. Just because Jesus is mentioned and reverenced does not validate their system. If that were the case, there would be no need for Christ to say that gate is narrow to salvation and that many will do things in His name but will be far removed from Him.
