Are Christian tats a turn off?

I personally don't like tattoos, but I'm generally not offended when people have them. Because of personal preference, it is a slight turn off for me, but not a deal breaker. Other things are more important to be concerned about.

If there were a tattoo that was offensive or inappropriate, I'd want to ask that it be covered. I don't feel that they would have to do it, free country and all that, but it would have a strong effect on my decision about whether to continue in a relationship with them.

Some tats are ugly. I have several myself (ok, my fur hides them) but they are not offensive

Yeah, that's pretty much my philosophy. It's something I believe in, and something I expect others to believe in as well. Whether something in a turn off or a turn on it's completely irrelevant. The goal should be to always be authentic.

Is there anything in the Bible against Christians having tattoos? I believe in the Old Testament it speaks against having tattoos but that would only apply to Jews in the old covenant. Personally I do not care much for stand alone tattoos, but women with tattoos covering their arms are pretty attractive in my opinion. Especially if they have good artwork.

If there is nothing against it in the Bible, I do not see the problem. Unless they're covered in Nazi imagery or something.. lol.

How is it ironic? While not a Christian, I'm still concerned with other Christians feeling comfortable expressing themselves. Especially if their religion does not actually prohibit something.

I especially like those creatively designed tattoos that look good on younger bodies but are intentionally drawn out to adapt to the skin when it starts to sag and wrinkle. I can't remember what site I first saw this at. But when I first saw the "young" and "old" pictures it was amazing that someone went to the lengths they did to make it. I'm sorry I don't have a link to post what I'm talking 'bout. I don't know if it was meant to be a photoshop joke or what. But at the time I thought it was pretty ingenious.

That's the whole point though. What I remember was that the tats were two completely different things; one thing while they were young and like it metamorphed when they got older. I guess you'd have to see what I'm talking about.

I have no problem with tattoos as long as they aren't on his face or neck.
