We are actually having more services and more participation.

We are doing morning and evening prayer throughout the week that we don't normally do. This is broadcast on Facebook.

Our weekly prayer meeting had over 70 connections to Zoom (with many connections being couples) compared to 25 - 30 individuals in person. Homegroups are continuing via Zoom. We are on holidays so normal meetings aren't happening, but in the next week or so, they will resume via Zoom.

Our Sunday services and our Good Friday hour at the cross are all on YouTube, and I am gobsmacked at how well they are done. We are having around 300 connections to YouTube, which if you consider that many are couples and families, this is immense - far more than our total normal Sunday worship.

God is good. Church was never meant to have walls.

I ask for your prayers. My daughter has not too long ago broken up with her longtime (and philandering) SO and father of her 4 children. Due to CV she has lost her job. She is super depressed, not paying attention to; cleaning or her health (except what might hurt the children, of course), just generally feeling hopeless and miserable. To make it all worse, she turns 40 this summer. I know that there are many, many worse off than she, esp with CV, however....please?

Still no services in this parish, although we're opening the doors for private prayer at set times.

We struggle. Our priest has been in hospital this week and we are waiting till she is better before we take our next steps.

Indeed! Although it looks as if, because of the pandemic, I won't be starting in the new place until maybe the beginning of November. (They want to recover some normality before inducting a new rector). So I'll have a while to pack...
