Anyone know the difference

I've had pains in my stomach alllllll day....
sometimes sharp, sometimes dull, sometimes constant, sometimes with a little break... I've also had pains in the vaginal area, sharp shooting pains off and on, and some pressure like feeling.....
is it gas
or cramping as in miscarrying??????????????????????????????????

It could be your hormones...I had cramping like I was going to get my period for a week, which is why I didn't test until I was a week late.

I did as well with this buby, I am just a couple weeks further along then you are.

I know with my OB if I felt like something was wrong, no matter how early, he would get me in to run tests.

Before 7 weeks they do blood tests, after 7 weeks they do and ultrasound.


I would say if you are having any ill feelings, call your OB/GYN

This early in your pregnancy I would contact your OB. It's probably nothing, I had similar pains but to be safe it's best to talk to your doctor.

Yes, never be afriad to call your doctor. I bugged mine several times on his weekend...all three times my back pain was a bladder infection so it's good I didn't ignore it.

i am one week further along than you..i have been experiencing the same thing for about a week now, both sharp and mild stomach pains, almost crampy feeling. i had an ultrasound done friday and everything is ok and babys heart is beating..so i guess its just part of all the changes going on inside.

I had that just a little bit further along, esp the sharp shooting pains in the vaginal area, and I freaked out! I called the doctor immediately. They told me it is common to feel those pains...she called them growing pains lol. Good news is they don't go away, at least not from what I have seen.

hmm, ok... well I hope they don't get tooo painful!! Mine have subsided a lot thankfully!
