CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Blindside, Thousand foot krutch, Relient K and Spoken are some really great bands. I also enjoy Kutless, Poor Old Lu, Anberlin, Seven Places, By The Tree, Plankeye, Pillar, Jonah33, Falling Up, Mourning September, Day Of Fire, 38th Parallel, 12 Stones, Sanctus Real, Tree63 and Cadet...just to name a few.malachia said:

Miss Angie was the best chick rock vocal that the Christian music scene has ever had. Too bad she's not still around.

I scratch my head and wonder why Miss Angie never became more of a sucess. Her first CD was awesome. I never saw her second CD anywhere except online.

Yeah I had the same kind of problem trying to find the 2nd cd [cuz I got the 1st one from my bro], but then I found it this spring at place that buys & sell Christian books, music and all that kind of stuff. It was so great! They had a lot of good old stuff that you can't find anywhere, and could hardly find even when those bands were alive. ...Yeah I definitely got the cd.
I think any band, Christian scene especially, that has a girl rock vocalist is always under-rated. it's sad.

I just discovered Anberlin the other day.
Miss Angie's most famous song that I know of was called "Lift My Eyes Up".
John Cox is another artist I loved and I never could figure out why he wasn't more sucessful. Becca Jackson is another one.
