Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

I do have a question. How long does it take to move a thread to an appropriate board after "reporting" the thread after a request is made?
I reported a thread yesterday but have received no acknowledgement of either my recommendation being received or of any action being taken.
This is the thread I recommended being moved to the Sacramental board on GT. Thank you and God bless.

Varies depending on the efficiency of the mods. However, when i was on staff, we didn't notify the reporter on the status of the thread.
In the case of an OP request to move/close/whatever the thread, it was normally done a lot faster, but since you're not the OP, it may take a while.

As a newbie you must have a certain number of posts before it is visible to you.
I am trying to recall if it is 50
it could be as much as 100.To boost your post count you may want to consider starting your own private counting thread here Forum Number Games - Christian Forums

Yes i have a question. Normally i search my threads and posts using the statistics tab under profile. However in the past two weeks this search facility has been disabled....your site is saying.
1. So how do I now do a quick search of threads started and posts made as i often can't remember what section they are in.
2. The previous search facility was very efficient and was i wondering if it will be reinstalled?

Simply put, you cant.
The search was disabled due to 'overloading the site', which basically says to me that the search indexes need to be rebuilt and the server optimized, but that probably won't happen. It needs to happen every year, if not more often. >.<
When will it be reinstated... Who knows???

No..... searching my own threads and posts. I have always done it this way....the last 2 weeks the search facility has been suspended.

You can send a message anon styles from blessings, if you tick the anon box for a message.

I have a folder in which I keep more memorable posts and also threads that have interested me. [I name them according to topic].
Just put shortcut on desktop and put a title under it and zap into a folder ehehe
