Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

When I do a thread title search on a board, it only list 1 thread tho I know there are many for the word search I did.
How come?
Do you remember the date those threads were made? Maybe you should type in the date?

The moderators must have changed it. I can't imagine any other reason for your problem.

I found the Advanced search for threads very convenient as I use it quite often.
But I think it was perhaps more important for CF Staff along with regular members who like to search for threads/posts for individual members.
I wonder if it is possible to have both that restored function along with showing all threads on the advanced search function on boards?

I have a question, since it was not addressed in a pm' i sent way over a week ago i will now post it here.
I was counseled for the 1st time ever.....:o
If i am counseled on something by a mod, does that mean someone reported the post?I am unclear on that.
and if not do they look over the posts in there forum that they moderate and see what is allowed and what is not?
Can you please advise me on this
oh and does the counsel post that i recieved need to stay in my user cp forever since i have been a contributing member since 2005 i believe.could be longer.
if it does stay what is the point in it expiring then?

ONE more important question, was the counsel that i recieved suppose to come from a modertor of that froum that i posted in? Are those the rules or can MODS go to any forum in which they choose and make corrections?
