What to do about your friends if you're a Calvinist:

pray for them

tell them the Gospel

pray for them

trust in God's sovereignty.

What to do about your friends if you're Arminian (I'm pretty sure, lemme know if I forget something):

pray for them

tell them the Gospel

urge them to repeat after you & chant the 'sinner's prayer'

rejoice in their salvation

wonder why they don't seem to be growing

pray for them

become concerned that they lost their salvation

wish you were more skillfull at speaking, then it might have 'took'.
I pray for them and tell them the gospel, and meanwhile i make sure my life is lined up

Do you have to be sinless to tell people the Gospel?

What is it that justifies a sinner, in your opinion.

what does that mean, in your mind?
That God selected us from the beginning, not because of what we can do, but for His glory. Im sorry im abit slow on Calvinism. My church has only talked about 2 times. First time, i didnt care nor did i understand it. second time i was currious about it and listened to it and bought a book about it

East Valley Bible Church (nondenomination)
web site www.EVBC.org
the book was the FIVE points of Calvinism by Steele, Thomas, and Quinn
All the services are online, the one of calvinism will probebly be hard to find because we have been studing the beatitudes for some months

If you read "The reformed Doctrine of Predestination" by Loraine Boettner, that book is excellent, a must read 'round here.

It'll answer every question you have but didn't realize you had, in a simple & straight forward fashion.

My teenaged sons (now age 14 & 15) read it last year & it didn't give them cancer, or hurt their backs or anything. Try it out!

Most libraries in the US do 'inter library loans' where if they don't have the book, they'll seek across the country for it & order it for you for free, just get it from them, or Cumberland Valley Bible Book Store is dirt cheap resource for reformed books.

"Easy Chairs, Hard Words" by I can't remember is another dandy, easy book.

look at your post, see the edit button?

Erase everything & leave a limerick or a joke instead so the CF police lets it be edited to your liking (thats how I do it, I'm not sure of the approveds method.)

My friend got saved like a year ago. We have become best friends and ive been telling her alittle about calvinism, she thinks its really cool because instead of making humans of higher standereds, we are decreasing ourselves (like it should be) and lifting up our Lord
