So what's up with Saul visiting a medium and then being visited by a dead Samuel?

whadd'ya mean? Is this a 'how to?' question, a 'huh?' question, or a 'is this what really happened?' question?

Is this what really happened?: must be. it's in the Bible, wild, eh? God not only allowing something like that to be successful, but giving Saul the reprobat actual answers that weren't vague, generic fortune cookie/ horoscope trickery.
