  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Another Noah's thread (no stoning please :))

Yup, you have been taken in by idiots.

Sorry, but it really is that bad.

I got a "phone call from Microsoft" that my computer had been hacked. I hung up on the man. What would you do/
When they called me from "Microsoft" (they actually did), I took them on a fishing expedition.
They call from India or Pakistan. Then I told them I would report them. They asked who would I report them to.
I told them - Microsoft.
I never heard a quicker hang up.
Then they called back cursing - and then I hung up.

Back to your original statement.
How could an idiot prove his findings a fraud, while the intelligent people could not.

I don't believe the Ark exists.

I believe Noah dismantled it to build his homestead.

Just my personal take on it, for the record.
I have NEVER heard such an opinion. :)

Good mind. :)

The funny part of this is that it is just laying there 515ft long, metal detectors practically outlined the whole thing and we are saying - what shape? Can't be Noah's Ark ... some other man-made structure ... 515 ft long. :)

It is comical. :)

It's rock, not wood. It isn't Noah's Ark. You are falling for a con game.

The metal detectors defined the outline.
And the metal was man-made and used together with wood for whatever stability for boat that was needed.
And the size fits the Biblical description ... can't fake the size ...
BTW, you watched the video?

All of which are claims backed by no evidence.

I don't have access to any actual data, do you? If not, these are all claims.

If you spend a few hours in Google Earth I bet you can find dozens of "Arks" if all you are going for is shape and size.

This part I cannot agree with, considering the location and the exact size

What metal bronze? so Noah was a metal worker as well as a boat builder? or did god do it?

Do you think invisible qualities can be clearly seen? How does that work?
Are your qualities visible?
Yes. At what I charge per hour as a technology consultant, I would be looking for other work in short order if they were not.

I look at it this way, Edial:

If scientists can find Gumby on Venus and a face on Mars, they can certainly find an [the?] Ark on earth.

Oh, please.

Long before Noah showed up, there were metalworkers.

Genesis 4:22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.

What else did you pick up outside of the 31st min?

That others, working with the same data but not with the presupposition that they had found the biblical ark, did not come the same conclusions as those promoting this site as genuine.

I would ask: was this video created in the interest of scientific discovery, or to sell videos? Could they not get someone other that UFOTV to produce it?

Like character qualities, but you already knew that.
Explain to me how it works.

How does one clearly see these "invisible qualities" of "eternal power" and "divine nature"?

I do not know what "divine" means, and how do we know anything is eternal?

I've said before in another thread that that is one area I'm completely at a loss to even speculate on.

Unless God withdrew His hold on it, I would assume it was.

I never really looked at it that way (that it was waterproof), but I suppose it could be.

I wouldn't think there would be a need for this pitch to be strengthened by God's intervention anymore, and probably just waterproofed his homestead on its own.

If intervention was need to hold the ark together, why bother with the ark at all? Was it just a make-work project for Noah?

True, you've mis-quoted the text. It don't say that.
Try using quote marks and the appropriate text.

Then your comment is irrelevant as I was specifically talking about Biblical interpretation.

I didn't misquote anything. I just failed to understand that your post was anecdotal. My bad.

I don't know. :)

What I know is what I see.
Here is a non-UFO film, the original one with home videos starting from 1959. Can't fake that.
Incredible photos of the petrified rib fragments of the ship, a bunch of people digging ... it is produced in the style of a story what happened, interviews, Turkish government involvement, politics, arrests ... anchor stones with holes with hole on top. The size was just too huge for regular ships ... and the size - cannot fake the 515 feet.
Information that some folks say of 450 feet is apparently incorrect. If you take the Egyptian cubit, it is exactly, exactly 515ft.
Moses, the writer of the text, although a Hebrew was brought up by the Egyptians. His education was Egyptian schooling. This is what Moses knew - Egyptians measurements.
Massive, massive ship.

Oh well ... :)
