I am almost certain that I have never accused other Christians of lying. (You were replying to my post, so I assume your "you guys" includes me.) Can you cite a single example of me accusing another Christian of lying?

This whole thread has gotten too stupid. I hope it's obvious now that Charles Duke is a sincere Christian who preaches the Gospel. He talks about his own journey to Jesus, which includes his eyewitness testimony of his own journey to the moon. None of the conspiracy theorists were there. Charles Duke was.

The only reason I talk about Charles Duke on this thread is because this thread is about the moon landings, one of which Charles Duke was an active participant in and an eyewitness to. And he cannot be accused of being a Freemason. Because he isn't. And I personally checked that with him by contacting him. Something which flat earther accusers don't seem to do.

But there are more Christian eyewitnesses when it comes to the shape of the earth. People like Barry Wilmore, Tracey Dyson and Jeff Williams, all Christian astronauts and all testifying with eyewitness testimonies that the earth is a globe.

So any claims that man has not gone to the moon based on dodgy interpretations of Scripture are, by default, accusations against a Christian eyewitness to the fact that he did. And any claims that the earth is flat based on dodgy interpretations of Scripture are, by default, accusations against more Christian astronauts who are eyewitnesses to the fact that it is a globe.

I would hope that Christians who have a genuine fear of God would not be so eager to accuse Christian eyewitnesses to God's creation of lying. Because they, more than anyone else, have a God-given right to say what shape the earth actually is. And testify to man landing on the moon.

He made a false claim in one of his videos, he was informed of his error, yet he has made no retraction, given no apology and the video with his false claims still remains unedited on his website. He continues to promote something he knows to be a lie.

So how do you explain him saying that the sports field was flat when in fact it is deliberately laid out with a "crown" as the raised centre is called, for drainage? Phil G posted a link to an American sports website last October on the thread: "Flat Earthers - What They Believe and Why." The link explained:

"A properly designed grass American football field does not lie perfectly flat. The surface of the field often arcs a foot or more from the sidelines to the midfield to allow excess water to drain off. Without a crown, as the raised area is called, a grass football field can become a soupy, dangerous mess. Many NFL fields and high school athletic fields in America utilize this surface drainage strategy."

In answer to you when you said (on the "Final Experiment" thread): "And I can't see where he has lied or has any reason to repent for it." Phil G wrote last Wednesday:

"This has been shown to you repeatedly. He has said on video (including with captions if you find it hard to hear what exactly he said) that a playing field is flat. It isn’t, it is purposely curved to allow for drainage.

The video is still posted in his own church’s YouTube channel. He is the pastor of that church, all of which means he endorses the video. It’s not a doctored video, otherwise he wouldn’t post it on his church’s YouTube channel, at least without correction, would he?

He was making claims that weren't true, otherwise known as lying. He may have believed it was true at the time he made the video, but he can no longer do so since he has been corrected. Yet his video remains on his website and no retraction has been posted, no apology has been made.

1. What did they say, and why did others say that it was a lie?
2. That is exactly what you said regarding Charles Duke's walk on the moon. He, a Christian said that he did it; you claim he didn't.
