I would like to request a copy of my user notes pls ( I can't currently PM but can receive PMs) and would like to also request that all warnings etc. over 6 months old be deleted, because they have EXPIRED.

How would you feel if anytime you sinned against God he opened a page of all your bad deeds going back years and used those records to make his decision on how to deal with your current sinful situation?

We are not amused.

I'm not sure if the new management realizes how the member ship has been supportive of open reports. Having them closed to our eyes again certainly does little to enhance membership trust of the new authority.

What is the reason behind this change? Can one please be given?

This is a very bad decision for staff as well - you cannot trust if you cannot see what is being done.

I had previously ignored the question due to the way in which is was asked. The question itself was answered within the commentary, so I didn't see this as a "real" question.

There is a chain-of-command within the staff structure.
"Lower-level staff" (i.e. Moderators) will be monitored by "Upper-Level" staff (i.e. Admins & SuperAdmins).

The Reconciliation Team will assist in problems between members & staff (complaints against particular staff members), and problems between staff members themselves.

Lisa, I would suggest that you take this issue directly to the Reconciliation Team. This is not an appropriate topic of discussion within this thread as it pertains to a specific issue between you and Jo and/or the rest of the moderators.
Jo is correct regarding the system not being live (i.e. not all features are able to be used). The new warning/infraction system is NOT in use at the moment as there are still coding issues/bugs to be worked out, as well as training that needs to be done.

That the oversight is no real oversight. Self-policing never works without independent oversight. This is pretty much a sociological fact. Roughly this independent oversight is called checks and balances. This evidently will not exist. I suspect when a member asks to see evidence presented against them the request will be denied for "confidentiality" reasons.

I would also respectfully offer that staff has never been given permission to ignore questions in the past. Has there been a policy statement that you may "not take seriously" any question that you do not feel is respectfully asked?
