Looks like it took about twelve hours for the official response to get put together. Not bad. Not bad at all.

I think that it is just that it took 12 hours for people to get back here and respond to your accusations with the same information that was posted in the OP. Nothing new has been said. Your smoke screen not withstanding.

Previous actions that were supported by previous rules. The rules at the present time are different and do not support yanking icons. You are creating an issue where there is none to be had.


Actually, it doesn't. There are no plans to force icon changes, nor are there rules to support forced icon changes, therefore, there is no discussion that needs a response aside from you creating one.

Yes, I saw that CaDan introduced the "challenge" you are championing. However, it is you, not CaDan, who is making the big deal out of it.

The problem is, Dean, there are people who who may actually read your "Fire!" posts and give them credence - even though none is warranted. If people are needlessly worrying that they're gonna be victimized because you're deliberately misrepresenting what's going on, that's unacceptable, and they're owed an apology.

Well thanks for laughing only I am not and I am not laughing either Dean at throwing salt on old wounds around here when our members do not need that and even staff can learn from previous errors. But according to you and others I guess we can't learn even though we are mostly a new guard and ones that were previous victims often of the old guard. So as a member who has been here for almost five years in good standing I do not take lightly someone making a mountain out of something that is not even a molehill.

The problem is, Dean, you're running around essentially shouting "Fire!" Your posts in WWMC about this are reprehensible - it's all drama and hubris.

If that's how you roll, that's your business. But there are people who who may actually read your "Fire!" posts and give them credence - even though none is warranted. Thank you for sharing your opinion and thoughts. I don't agree with you and I see things differently. I was part of the old guard and I didn't support witch hunts or icon changes. Infact, most of us didn't.

I've seen things from many different levels and perspectives and I am reassuring you that our Advisors and Lee and staff members have no desire to yank icons or change icons.

Please stop for abit here and pray for us and pray for CF. Be apart of the solution and help us help others in Christ.

Lots of us have been here and lots of us have been involved. You are just not painting a very objective picture that takes into account everything.

The rules apply to all of us Moriah.

We all have to follow the rules. We all are first members and then some of us are staff. But staff is expected to follow the rules more so than non-staff members. We are held at a higher standard because we know the rules and it's part of our ministry to know the rules and uphold them. If staff can't keep to the rules, how can we expect others to? We can't and therefore, staff is held to a higher standard. It's always been this way.

When those views disparage others and when they talk about things that are better off deader than a doornail and you are misrepresenting them to your own means that is not discussion that is railroading the discussion IMHO so that you can achieve a desired effect ... If your desired effect is that all of staff looks bad or that we look like villians then you are not doing a half bad job but you are not helping your fellow members because we still have to deal with them and their has to be a shared respect.

Anyway, you can pledge on your honor to resign from Staff rather than participate in a system that pulls faith icons or you can choose not to so pledge. Any chaos is being caused by Staff members trying avoiding committing themselves in a serious and public way to being opposed to a policy of pulling icons.

No, the chaos is coming from those accusing the owner and staff of intending on implementing something they have pointedly stated there will be none of.

There's been no cleansing. Further, you do a GREAT disservice to those who actually *are* suffering due to institutionalized cleansing.

No I pledge myself to God first then to my husband and family second but I also pledge my devotion to this board CaDan and you know why. If it should come down to the fact that LeeD says in the future that he wants it where we would have to pull icons I pledge myself to upholding the rules of this board and it's protocols .... And if anyone has a problem with that then I am sorry. I may not agree with it and may not want it but I do not look at things the way you do. I look at the bigger picture and who I am serving.
