A parable is a specific type of figure of speech. The word parable is derived from the Greek word "parabolos" which means to lay/throw beside. Something unknown/not understood is explained by comparison with something known/understood e.g. "the kingdom of God is like unto a sower sowing seed." The Lazarus and rich man story lacks that comparison. There are 212 figures of speech in the Bible. Lazarus and the rich man might be some other figure of speech, but it is not a parable.

Exactly. That's what you say. Especially when it comes to passages like Matthew 25:46 and Revelation 14:11. You basically say, "well did God really say that ?"

Whenever it comes to the main passages that prove Hell is eternal punishment , you do thee exact same thing the Serpent did in Genesis 3:1

Death is the worst thing that can happen to a person. Even if it means the person will lead a life in pain, be horribly disfigured, paralyzed and blind, doctors will still save car crash burn victim from death. The worst penalty for crime is being sentenced to death. God gave his only begotten son to save us from death. When Jesus found out Lazarus was dead, Jesus wept. The greatest and most significant miracle ever performed by Christ, was conquering death.

I never said Annihilation is the same as heaven. I said it has the same benefits as described in Revelation 21:4.

Do annihilated people cry, mourn or feel any kind of sadness ? No.
Do annihilated people fear death or die ? No.
Do annihilated people ever feel any pain ? No.

Are annihilated people being punished ? No. They don't exist. You cant punish what doesn't exist. Punishment does not exist for people who do not exist.

Is a virgin who gets a vasectomy punishing his future children by depriving them of life ????? Of course not. That's ridiculous. Your interpretation of Matthew 25:46 is more ridiculous than my analogy of Rev 21:4. Your interpretation of Matt 25:46 is similar to what happened in Genesis 3:1 .

Suicide is the worst thing one can do to oneself. Suicide is so bad everyone tries to prevent someone from doing it. Unless that is someone drives someone else to suicide, because they hate them so much, and driving them to suicide is the worst thing they can do to them.
