Wow. Sounds like Wesleyan Holiness. That was how they portrayed the pre-fall Adam and Eve. A small sun with heads, arms and lower legs sticking out of it.

Hmmm.. "Modern" harmony (3 and 4 part) with the following chord structure is a German invention of the late Renaissance and early Baroque period.

Is that why we see angels with blonde hair and blue eyes? They are Germans?

You can always tell a German.
You just can't tell him very much.
