CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That used to be my favorite. It got bumped down to number two. Of course the only person that could top Alison is herself. Looking in the Eyes of Love is my new favorite love song. She really sings her heart out. When I hear a voice so pretty singing about love like that, it makes my heart soar. It's a shame that woman had to go through divorce. I'd stay single the rest of my life just to see her with someone that makes her happy and wouldn't break her heart.When You Say Nothing at All by Alison Krauss...

It's the least I could do. Her music has really touched this ole heart. A certain calmness comes over my weary soul when I hear her sing. I can't wait to meet her. If it doesn't happen this lifetime, I'm sure I can arrange something on the otherside. For me, she is living proof that God gives us glimpses of what heaven will be like.I've never heard the song. But, if I can make up my own I think that I would have the ability to read people's thoughts at will. I'm not very good at reading facial expressions or 'reading between the lines.' I'm not sure how I could use that to help other people though... I guess I could know what the bad guy is thinking and use that against him!
