Hmm. Who in the world makes a thread likes this in the first one or two posts of registering with a message board? I smell catfish.
Apparently I do! Who in the world JUDGES someone that they know nothing about, after they simply ask others input?
Guess we can both play the question game.
I would love to share my experiences and reasoning for looking for like-minded people. But I do not need to defend myself, nor would you care to hear anyways.
I just think it’s sad to be judged in such a way. I don’t know you personally, but I HAVE personally been hurt by people who were not what they claimed to be. As in, yeah, serious life-changing hurt- so I don’t appreciate being grouped with them.
I’m one of the 2% of society that does not project myself differently online, than how I am in real life. It has been that very naivety and trust that has caused me to be an overly-easy target.
I posted so early, because I thought I would be posting among my brothers and sisters in Christ- a SAFE place, withOUT judgement. Where I live, no white woman dates Asain men, even if we had some here. I’m just different. I didn’t ask to be attracted to one group over another. It’s just the way it is.
And being that I have yet to find someone near me who can relate- I thought I would ask other like-minded people.
I’m sorry for whatever you’ve gone through that’s caused you to judge someone you know, but maybe next time you might want to remember you don’t know the road that person has had to walk.
Give them a chance before you judge based on your assumptions.
That’s why Christians are leaving the Church. Because we can’t even be vulnerable around our, supposed, own kind.
That’s sad.
