Anybody who believes in the Scriptures can and often is labeled a fear monger, and you might as well throw in a hater as well.Yes you are quite right about your Book of Mormon comment, but the problem is America is becoming more wicked, and is losing the protection that God has promised to the righteous.I thought Mitt Romney might have been the White Horse guy.

George Washington ~Not enough big ones
Here is a little more on George Washington, thank You for your post.A British sniper,an officer, could have shot George Washington, but felt he should not fire.http://www.historynet.com/the-marksman-who-refused-to-shoot-george-washington.htm Another time, his life was spared in the French and Indian Wars, in an amazing way.Well... the opening post sounds like an excerpt from something else... Vision of George Washington? Isn't he pictured on the Capitol dome ascending to heaven?
"The Apotheosis of Washington depicts George Washington sitting amongst the heavens in an exalted manner, or in literal terms, ascending and becoming a god..."

Good thing I already had the flu...!
Just remember my first post on this tread, when you see the beginning of of the second American civil war that is outlined, and it will be soon, you will know that "Mormon Church Leaders" were indeed led by the Lord.I know the TRUTH of that which I speak of.A voice of warning to any who seek the truth. And what is the Lord's definition of truth...This from modern revelation recorded in a book called the Doctrine and Covenants, section 93, verse 24."And truth is knowledge of things as they are, and as they were, and as they are to come". How valuable that knowledge truly is.Tim Barton?! As in, the son of David Barton, the infamous history-revisionist and Christian liar?
Hey, if you believe that stuff, I have a bridge you might like to buy. For you, it's half off.
Yes, I have heard that before.I don't think Snopes is right. The tale of "Washington's Vision" was penned by Charles Wesley Alexander (1836-1927), a Philadelphia journalist who published The Soldier's Casket, a periodical for Union veterans of the Civil War. Writing under the pseudonym "Wesley Bradshaw," Alexander authored several fictional "vision" or "dream" pieces featuring historic American figures which were published as broadsheets and in various newspapers during the Civil War and were later offered for sale through advertisements in the pages of The Soldier's Casket, with the artificial separation between the real Charles Alexander and the pseudonymous "Wesley Bradshaw" allowing the former to unashamedly laud the latter's works."http://www.snopes.com/history/american/vision.asp
Hot news that I am keeping an eye on, thank you for post. Some of your fellow countrymen really seem keen on this civil war idea. Cliven Bundy's son has literally just started an armed insurrection.
I would say that the warning he received, was an important message fer us all.Two points:
1) What evidence is there that George Washington actually had this so-called "vision" in the first place? Color me, oh, just a wee bit skeptical.
2) Let's pretend for a moment that Washington did have such a "vision". What relevance is it to me? George Washington isn't a prophet, seer, or visionary in [orthodox] Christianity.

Well I have an interesting answer for you from the D&C, speaking about prophesy.I would say that the Lord has a perfect track record of foretelling future American civil wars.Meh, Washington wasn't really that great of a guy. I'm not sure why we spend so much time deifying him. Probably to build up our American mythos.
David Barton is a well-known twister of words for his agenda. I'm guessing his son is no different.
I do not find the D&C to be authoritative scripture for many reasons; I doubt the character and acts of Joseph Smith principally.
Your prophecy is interesting in the sense that it really does paint Mormonism as a distinctly American religion, and not really a worldwide ancient religion.
I would say that the warning he received, was an important message fer us all.
Are you really talking to me, after the post I have just given?Anyone who can foresee the civil war thirty years before it started, and and say in which state it would begin, was just guessing? You've yet to demonstrate that he received any message at all.
So you believe every "message" "received" by anyone whatsoever is to be taken seriously?
Tell me, exactly, how seriously you're taking the messages relayed by Edgar Cayce.

That message is about the Book of Mormon, which is a second witness along with the Bible, of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the most important message anybody, anywhere could receive!I would say that the warning he received, was an important message fer us all.
