Could they have paused longer before announcing the winner?
Oh I know! We fast forwarded through probably 75% of the show last night. Between all the recaps and clip segments, this could have been a 15 minute show. And how much does Matt want to be Ryan Seacrest, anyway??
We'll find out..... AFTER the break!
The winner of American Inventor is........

LOL!
And the audio problems - if Matt said, "Look, he's speechless!" one more time when the remote locations couldn't hear him talking, I thought I would gag.
Okay, so I didn't really care for the finale.

But I am glad for the winner. I read a TV Guide interview online yesterday with Peter Jones where he was saying that if the baby seat won, it would never - he emphasized
never - make it to market. He said we
would not see it for sale on the market. He was quite insistent that it was a bad design and had too many problems to be successful. I guess we'll see, and I for one hope he is very, very wrong.
