The Question you need to be asking is,am i mature enough to be getting married? I am in the same situation as you, except for my fiance is in the marines. We are getting married in August.. by that time we will both be 20. I have been dating him since high school. I am in college and I have many scholarships that will pay for my school wherever I may go. There is a lot of thinking to do, but you can only truley be the one that knows the answer to your question. It seems to me that you have a pretty close walk to god, make sure that you are on god's time, and you are not just doing this to please each other. With God nothing can be broken apart, no matter what the percentage is. Yes 50 % of marriages end up in a divorce, because most of those marriages have nothing to do with the church, as in old days when religion was a thing you were raised up to do every sunday, and that is why the divorce rate in the 1940's, 1950's and so on is extremley lower. Don't let people scare you into a decision. If god is with you then there will be a way.
