if you spent more than 20 minutes at Wonder Square, you are a sick person :p

Final Fantasy 7 was probably my all-time favorite. storyline, graphics (those were amazing graphics back in the day), incredible music, characters, intricate system, materia... i could go on all day...

surprisingly, FF8 is my close runner-up. though they really messed up the entire genre with the GF system, it was an interesting, new change, and the music was great. the characters, on the other hand... classic stuff from the Grand List of RPG Cliches, if you ask me (Google "the Grand List of RPG Cliches" and you'll know what I mean :p )

did somebody mention the card game in FF8? please don't. that entire experience gave me nightmares. i sat awake at night contemplating it, and concluded that it was a clever scheme hatched by the creators of Pokemon to infiltrate the Final Fantasy crowd with their inherent obssessive, collectible evil and amusing gameplay, and never played Triple Triad again. perhaps this was just because I lost my Ifrit card to Zeke's mother, but I still think the game is evil. besides, i never liked dominos to begin with. putting Squall and Ifrit on the dominoes doesn't make it any better, if you ask me.

Cause I think 7's music is incredible

you think the music is great in MIDI format? Google "Overclocked Remix" and check out their FF7 mixes, especially "A World of Piano". OC-Remix MP3s take up about a gig of hd space, and i haven't even started with the Megaman collection yet :D

Yeah Gold Saucer was fantastic. I loved the Chocobo racing. Fastest chocobo bred, Gold at 178km/h. That guy was awesum. Yeah snowboarding was great too.

Are you kidding? The card game on FF8 was great. If you got good enough at it you could get some items from it that you didnt get from anywhere else in the game.

I raced my gold chocobo to get all my Gold points, but it was so boring because I could win all the races so easily, even against Teioh.

I went through wondersquare with all the characters to see what they did. I love Red...

I got really good at the basketball game at one point.

I just finished FF IV last night; I'd been wandering around in the final dungeon for awhile, and I must say it's one of the best games I've played. I wasn't as emotionally attached to the characters as I was with VII, but the fights were much more challenging. Three of my characters were dead by the end of the fight. And I loved fighting to the Light Warriors Theme.

Anyway, off to start VI now...

Final Fantasy VII *was* the best, it would not be my personal favorite game ever, but I can honestly say it is the best one. In trust it set the benchmark, never before had there been such in depth, and variety and character development that even eclipsed the sequels.

Second was Final fantasy IX, it was a slow starter but the true storyline was really deep, it had a great soundtrack and back to the good ol healthfully large amount of mini-games, as compared to....only triple triad in FFVIII (which was good, but it was alone).

FFVII was too easy, though. Compared with IV and VI, and even I, it's just really easy. But I love it for plot, stories, music, characters, minigames, etc.

I'm playing VI now, and it's really nice. It's more addictive than IV for me, which isn't good since finals are coming up in a month. I loged 50 hours on IV, and I can't afford to do that with VI anytime soon.
