Talin shook his head then turned to Hank and Arela take this tunnel then go straight through the forest and find the ancient Dwarf Road that will lead you to the Garrison and take these Talin gave them two mail hauberks these are dwarf made. So they are light as a feather but will protect you against every thing except magic. Arela and Hank gave him their thanks then went through the tunnel. Now if I may suggest since Ryaren is the keeper of this magic horn she should be protected my home carries a great supply of armor and weapons both Dwarf and man made. I would suggest the same to you as well Liam.
Meanwhile at Angband
Morgoth stood above the armory thousands of Fire demons, Morlocks, Orcs, Goblins, Trolls, and Men were being armed. The Fire demons wore no armor but held a sword an axe, a war hammer, or a whip. The Morlocks wore an armor that consisted of a leather tunic and groin-guard, over which was worn a short-sleeved mail hauberk and breastplate; the legs were protected with greaves and sabatons. The only difference in armor was found in the helmets; the basic design for all except the archers was a bowl shape that was cut around the maw allowing the Morlocks to bite in close combat. Both helmets had a fan-shaped crest and an eye slit, but the swordsmen’s was additionally fitted with cheek-plates that extended into blades. These were precisely the width of a man’s eyes, giving the Morlock an additional means of killing his enemy. The weapons of the Morlocks differed between pikes, Crossbows, and a Falchion. The Morlocks shields were simple flat sheets of metal with the Insignia of the Wolf. The Orcs and Goblins wore mostly poorly made mail hauberks which were worn a very basic and crude collar, cuirass, fauld, and sets of pauldrons each consisting of no more than three or four metal plates that had been riveted together. Their helmets were fitted with visors to block out the sun. The helmet of one orc was not identical to that of another. Some were full faced helms, some had trap-door visors. While others had beak like nasals to protect the face. Shields too were not identical some were crescent shaped others were just sheets of iron, and others were shaped like the wings of a demon but all bore their masters insignia. The Orcs weapons varied from swords, hammers, axes, spears, pikes, glaives, or halbreds. And then the trolls all wore helmets some with horns, some with spikes, and all with cheek-guards. The trolls wore no armor and carried no shields but their weapons were massive clubs the size of oak trees or spiked hammers. And finally the men under Morgoths service. They like the Orcs wore different types of armor and wielded different types of weapons. The troops kept marching in and out of the armories then headed for the massive parade grounds there they took up formations planned by their generals. The armies spread out like a roaring sea here and there and Orc or man waiting for Morgoth to release them upon the unsuspecting world. Morgoth stepped towards an open podium that over looked the massive army. At the sight of their master the armies gave a great roar yelling: Morgoth Rules! My children, Morgoth spoke softly. Soon you shall march from the gates of Angband and destroy the world of men. More roars from the army. You shall crush all that is good and pure in this world and turn it into a world of darkness our enemies shall become our slaves. Then when I have the sacred horn no force in the cosmos shall stop me. So rejoice my warriors for soon the war will be over and the Reign of Morgoth shall begin.
